The Republican party has NO USE for women and cares nothing for them. Nor do they care for anyone who is anything other than white UMC men. If you think otherwise, you are out of your mind.

For those women defending these buffoons, you are simply clinging your UMC lifestyle that you desperately do not want to lose. That is it, plain and simple. Would be very difficult to lose that CC membership, have to get a job and send the kids to public school, wouldn't it? So you put up with the BS to keep your 'lifestyle." Newsflash - it's 2018 not 1950.

Trump has no Presidential temperament and Bart has no Judicial temperament. Full stop. Probably why they make a good pair. A couple of liars being cheered on by a room full of liars.

If ya'll think your good ole boys are faithful, God fearing choir boys, you are sadly mistaken. You make me ill.

I think most of the posts are written by the same woman, posting on dcum seems to a full time endeavor for one Trump troll.

Wow, that’s some wishful thinking on your part!

+ 1 The liberals here think that everyone agrees with them except some lone outlier.

I guess Jeff would know for sure, but I think you're mistaken.

Congrats to President Trump for nominating BK and then sticking by him through it all .... and for giving one of the better speeches he has given.

Congrats to Susan Collins for the brilliant rationale she offered for supporting his confirmation.

Thanks to Joe Manchin for having the courage to go against his party and support his nomination.

Finally, congrats to Mitch McConnell for masterfully managing the nomination to the point of confirmation.

Amen to all of that.

Kavanaugh gave a great speech tonight. Made me even more sure that he is the right person and that justice prevailed.

I agree. He will serve honorably on SCOTUS.
And to the person that thinks there is only one pro-Trump person posting.....Wow. #Clueless

Not a Trump fan but the Democrats are out of touch with the moderate independent voter. They also seem to be the party of anger and hate. If you don't agree with your agenda or talking points you start name calling and harassment. I know you will say this all Trumps fault but maybe some of the Democratic party views are just as extreme to some of us in the middle. The way Kavanaugh and Ford were treated by the Democratic party is a disgrace. Give us a real Democratic leader to vote for and you may have an argument. Hillary Clinton was not the answer.

What are some “extreme” DNC views?

And specifically, since you bring her up, which of HRC’s positions were “extreme”?

DP

This is part of their problem...you don't address the anger, hate, name calling etc. that happens all too often if you don't agree, you ask a question about what's so extreme.

I will give you one extreme...you don't believe Ford, you hate women. My wife is a victim of sexual assault, she didn't believe Ford. Among other things, one beer?...to forget so much she must had a lot more than that. Another, she can't understand given the level of attempted sexual assault (she doesn't put groping on the same level) how she didn't say a word to her best friend.

+ 1 Now they're saying that anyone who supports Kavanaugh "hates women." They are saying hateful, vicious things about Collins, simoly because she voted the way she felt was right. (And she was correct.) I thought the Dems are saying how you need to respect women! They apparently mean respect women who agree with liberals.

What I appreciate about Collins’ speech is that she outlined several of the decisions Kavanaugh has made as judge that dispel the talking points of the left (like he would overturn Roe vs. Wade or that he was anti-woman). These are undisputed facts.

Collins is done and she knows it. She was probably planning to retire anyway.

She is an intelligent, articulate, well-reasoned, independent, and accomplished woman who is deserving of not merely respect, but admiration. Yet, because she didn't vote "the liberal way," Democrats are ripping her to shreds.

After reading a bunch of these entries, I just don't understand the Democrats that automatically believe Ford and still believed her when no evidence backed up her claim. I understand giving her allegations a chance to be heard, but what exactly made her allegations so credible.

That is just the Democrat way. If you don't agree with them then you are scum.

She knows exactly what happened during the assault and she knows exactly who assaulted her. Millions of Americans know it too including many in powerful positions that cynically could care less. That vile behavior gets a pass. We deserve what we get from him.

Teach your kids to protect themselves as no one else will step up to help.

The poster above asked you what made her accusation credible. Your answer was "she knows." That doesn't answer the question. What evidence does she have, other than her say-so? The witnesses she named to collaborate the story did not, and there were inconsistencies and changes in her story (most notably the date of the attack - from late 80s to early 80s).
