And JLo couldn't figure out how hurtful this book of 20 year old letters and emsils would be to Jennifer Garner, as well as to Ben's and JG's kids? Plus, all the weddings, honeymoon and fanny pat bed pics from their honeymoon trips?JLo deserves all the "happiness" she's now experiencing.

And I agree pp, I suspect any “love letters” written during his marriage to JG were nothing more than emails saying “hey, congrats on the new movie”. And in his defense, I still have a box in my basement that has some cards and notes written by an old college boyfriend, and could probably dig up old emails from my yahoo sent box too.

If they have a prenup and the only asset is the house, what’s the problem? They could be divorced to tomorrow.

I’m sure they have significant marital income and/or debts just from the time period they were married that aren’t covered by the prenup. He likely made money from his production company and residuals. She may have taken a bath on that documentary. There may be a fight about whether to split the losses on the documentary that he clearly never wanted made.

I wonder if she tried pushing him for a baby and that’s what sent him over the edge. Yes he looked miserable for months prior to the breakup rumors, but he’s looked that way for most of the last 15 years. He knew who he was marrying, but he suddenly seems so bitter and hellbent on publicly embarrassing her. This is payback for something and it’s not about love letters.

H's flawed, granted...probably deeply. But he has worked a program, is likely in therapy and has been for years and has a deeper level of self awareness and therefore privacy. He is more psychologically minded bssically. She is not. It's obvious. I think he just realized it...that she has her own emptiness she tries to fill with fame and validation. And he saw that as the deeper problem it is. He said as much in regard to her always trying to fill holes inside. I agree too...he relieved the circus of twenty years ago with the negative pap attention, plus the doc failure...it just made him miserable. And he felt trapped which is his issue but in a way he was. He probably felt he lost control of his life and had to save himself.
