Can we analyze jennifer lopez?

Doesn't the research show the sexual adrenaline and sexual rush lasts about two to three years for couples? So the rush ended, the issues came front and center and they navigated it all in a poor way. Sh*t got real and they did not have the skills or maturity to cope. (career failure, power negotiation, increasing conflict, anger and hurt, probably their kids, lifestyle, etc). There were four divorces between them, and a slew of relationship endings. Was anyone surprised they had deficits in how to be married and work through things? I mean really...

Yeah, I have to say that was a huge deal. She either doesn't know him well enough to know that he'd absolutely hate that or she didn't care how he felt because her "Greatest Love Story Never Told" project was more important.

I'm not a fan or hater of either of them so I'm not invested but that right there, that was a death blow to the relationship.

H's flawed, granted...probably deeply. But he has worked a program, is likely in therapy and has been for years and has a deeper level of self awareness and therefore privacy. He is more psychologically minded bssically. She is not. It's obvious. I think he just realized it...that she has her own emptiness she tries to fill with fame and validation. And he saw that as the deeper problem it is. He said as much in regard to her always trying to fill holes inside. I agree too...he relieved the circus of twenty years ago with the negative pap attention, plus the doc failure...it just made him miserable. And he felt trapped which is his issue but in a way he was. He probably felt he lost control of his life and had to save himself.

You must be the poster who calls Ben a “creative genius”.

I called him a creative genius. He is. That doesn't make him a nice guy / good father / sober adult / responsible friend. It just makes him very intelligent and talented. Many talented geniuses are douche bags and worse. Wake up.

I don’t believe he wrote to her while married to Garner, but he held on to his previous love letters written to JLo from prior to his relationship with Garner. He held these letters for all of JG’s marriage and then gave them to JLo this second time around in a book as a romantic gift.

I feel like she is a control freak who bossed him around telling him what to eat, what to wear, where to go… I don’t think he is very private either but his style of exhibitionism is different. So once the passion worn out he didn’t want to play along anymore.

This may be relevant for people in their 20s, 30s and possibly 40s, but over 50? No, its a whole other world.

The documentary is on prime. She did not make the letters public for the general public. She laid them all out and her team and the filmmakers were reading them and Ben walked in and was clearly surprised that the love letters that he had written her over the years were out and being read.

Who knows if this was a major cause of their break up, but it is the illustrative of how far she will go. I’d be super pissed as I think most people would if they saw their spouses work colleagues casually going over private intimate letters.

I am not sticking up for Ben, i think he is a train wreck and not capable of an intimate mature long term relationship, but this kind of behavior was just really bizarre and over the top.
