I love you!!!

By the same token, if you’re drunk enough to be assaulted while blacked out, you’re also kind of asking for it. Stay aware and in control of yourself and don’t drink to the point of becoming incredibly vulnerable, or you bear some of the responsibility.

NO YOU DON’T.

Correct. You don’t. It’s not okay to rape someone. Or sexually assault them. Ever. Not even when they are blacked out drunk.

She was sympathetic in her testimony.
When you read the testimony--especially Mitchell's paper--it is clear that her testimony was seriously flawed, especially compared to her earlier statements. She couldn't remember what she told WAPO two months ago--how can you trust what she says happened 30+ (that is one of the issues) years ago. Particularly, when she initially said her "late teens" and changed it to"15."

If you look at the facts, the only reason anyone believes her is because they want to do so. The Dems mostly came out saying that they "believed her" even before we heard from her.

If this is what the Democrats represent, and, if they get the power, then we are in very serious trouble.

+1

They believe her because, well, they believe her. There has not been a single piece of hard evidence that corroborates her story. There have been a mountain of inconsistencies in her ever changing accounts surrounding this case. 1) Did she coach anyone for polygraph; 2) Did she take a polygraph on the same day of her grandmother's funeral 3) Did she share notes with the Post 4) Did she put in a second door for google interns or herself 5) Did she live in a 500 sq ft studio 6) Was she afraid of flying 7) Did she know who paid for her poly 8) Did she know her lawyers work for free 9) Did she know senate staffers were willing to come to her 10) 4 boys, or 2 boys; late teens, early 1980s, mid 1980s, 1980s, or 1982.

Honestly I don't know why Dr. Ford is not investigated for perjury.

That's right. My point is that it is wrong to say that if you get too drunk to be able to deny or defend yourself against false accusations of sexual assault, then you deserve it. PEOPLE should watch what they drink.

And to all the women who are merely tipsy or only had one beer - still their fault? Or only if it’s crossed with an outfit that teases? Is that your equation? Like one beer plus covered outfit equals not her fault but one beer plus short skirt equals her fault? At any point is it the fault of the sexual assaulter?

I can't believe this has to be said. But here we are. JFC.

Warning to GOP:

Gosh, she was playing the long game, wasn’t she? Mentioned it how many years ago? And the stupid game, too, I guess, seeing as she then named his best friend as the witness. Mitchell never got to question Kavanaugh and she was there for the GOP.

You guys listen to his numerous lies and conclude she’s the one with the truth problem.

NO. That's why I said "while blacked out." The statement that men should never drink so much that they can't deny any possible allegation of sexual assault is just wrong.

“Judge Kavanaugh exhibited extreme partisan bias and disrespect towards certain members of the committee and thereby demonstrated that he possesses neither the temperament nor the character essential for a member of the highest court in our nation...... disqualified himself from this lifetime appointment and must step aside immediately."

Nor can I believe that we have to say that men should not get too drunk because they might be falsely accused of sexual assault, leaving them with no leg to stand on and that would be their own fault.

Maybe sort out some basic facts e.g. PJ claimed Devils Triangle 3,4. Means it wasn’t a drinking game.
