Parent of a strong player like every one else on a soccer forum. Who else would even bother with this nonsense.

Presumably your player gets invited to these far flung soccer "opportunities' so you know how it works.

And your’s doesn’t get invited so you have no idea.

+1000

Who in the world would "+1000" an obnoxious and grammatically incorrect statement like that?

Given the sheer volume of spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, and usage problems on this board, your protest is grossly overstated. That you can’t distinguish between a “+1000” for content and one for the perfection of its delivery amuses me.

That you think it deserves "+1000" on either count depresses me.

That your constitution is so feeble as to warrant depression is certainly sad.

That a constitution susceptible to depression makes you sad is ironic.

I'm quite certain I didn't qualify myself as sad; rather, it was a characterization of such people who take themselves and these forums far too seriously. No doubt, they are not only susceptible to depression, but to pretentiousness as well.

In agreement there. Pretension and competitive youth soccer are no strangers.

There is never a reason to bash a parent or kid making the best decision for them.
