Look into Brock’s suits against his former partner if you want to see a “lovely” person.

Can you explain what this refers to?

When Brock and his partner broke up, he sued him over (ironically) a Delaware beach house. Maybe Brock or his partner is one of Ford’s Delaware beach friends who advised her what to do in August

I think she was at the beach in California. It was clear from the ideas that were given to her that none of them were people remotely connected to politics in anyway. They were trying to be helpful but it was not their area of expertise at all. Also clear none of them were lawyers either.

In Ford’s testimony, she referred to asking friends in Delaware for references to lawyers. She mentioned calling lawyers from the Walgreen’s parking lot in Rehoboth to discuss her case. She came to Rehoboth annually to visit her parents so she could have acquaintances who are typical Washington lawyers.

She FLEW to Rehoboth annually.

Why do you assume people who fear flying never get on planes?

My mom is terrified of flying. Terrified, as in white knuckle, give her something to knock her out so she sleeps the entire time terrified. But she still finds it necessary to get to far away places that it is impossible to drive to. So she gets on those planes and prays the entire flight. It's not pretty.

I have a cousin who is terrified of driving. She avoids it all costs, but has a car and drives it, but only when necessary and almost never on highways. She has never been on the beltway as a driver her whole life! Fords story is beleivable to me.

His lack of honesty is what should be the end of this. None of us will ever know for sure whether he committed any assaults absent other evidence. But his perjury was unquestionable. And it is irrelevant that he and many of us think the questions he evaded or lied in response to we’re stupid or inappropriate. He lied under oath and we need to move on to the next.

It wasn't a lie if they referred to a drinking game they made up as Devil's Triangle. That is what they would have meant in the yearbook. The fact they were giggly about the alternative meaning of the term doesn't mean they engaged in sexual threesomes.

You sound fairly naive. Did you happen to hang out in the 80s with wealthy, hard partying prep school boys?

Now hopefully these two have never lied through their teeth about getting blind drunk and assaulting people, and then throwing a temper tantrum at a televised Senate hearing for all the world to see.

I’d take Make Believe puppets in place of the committee members. Daniel Tiger: Judge Kavanaugh, what’s a Devil’s Triangle?

+1 I'm wondering if she's suffered from extreme anxiety her entire life.

Ford seems to fly regularly. I’m not sure whether she has driven on the beltway.

Goes to show that rape and sexual assault touches every segment of society. Doesn't matter who you are, if you are a woman you are vulnerable.

It also doesn't mean they didn't or, as on the case of Dr. Christine Blasey-Ford when she was 15, they certainly tried!

Have you listened to the female classmates who've gone on tv to support Kavanaugh and the positive comments they've made?

She has said she believes Dr. Ford.

And, she also says she never met Brett Kavanaugh--and does not remember the party. She doesn't want to call her lifelong friend a liar.

No, you have to not listen when Kavanaugh speaks at the hearing. He lied about this, over and over and over. You should watch the Rachel Maddow episode that aired that night.

What? What did he say? I don't recall him talking about Leland over and over and over.

That's believable. HOWEVER that's NOT what Ford says or Ford's actions.

Ford also admitted that she flew to pursue her interests in Hawaiian culture, oceanography and surfing.

“In fact, you fly fairly frequently for your hobbies and you’ve had to fly for your work, is that true?” Mitchell asked.

“Correct, unfortunately,” Ford answered.

She added, “It’s easier to travel going that direction when it’s a vacation.”

This is AFTER she said she would not fly to Australia on business. Her statements make NO sense.

I have never heard a threesome referred to as Devil’s Triangle and I’m from that area and time period.

The information that has come out seems like he really has a lot of hate towards women he considers beneath himself. Look at the way he behaved toward the democratic senators and the prosecutor hired by the GOP! He apparently was fine with the women he considered his social equal, or more prestigious then he, and drank with them at Yale.
He seems to have targeted the women he considered to NOT be his equal - like Regine in high school, and Ms. Ramirez in college.

Also explains why the woman he dated who is now a judge says he did not attack her.

His behavior is sadly very consistent with the behavior of other men who are connected via wealth or power who are accused of attacking women. Men who have been republicans, democrats, famous actors, whatever weinstein was - producer? It crosses all lines.
