He sounds lovely at work: https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/i-knew-brett-kavanaugh-during-his-years-republican-operative-don-ncna907391

Look into Brock’s suits against his former partner if you want to see a “lovely” person.

Can you explain what this refers to?

When Brock and his partner broke up, he sued him over (ironically) a Delaware beach house. Maybe Brock or his partner is one of Ford’s Delaware beach friends who advised her what to do in August

I think she was at the beach in California. It was clear from the ideas that were given to her that none of them were people remotely connected to politics in anyway. They were trying to be helpful but it was not their area of expertise at all. Also clear none of them were lawyers either.

In Ford’s testimony, she referred to asking friends in Delaware for references to lawyers. She mentioned calling lawyers from the Walgreen’s parking lot in Rehoboth to discuss her case. She came to Rehoboth annually to visit her parents so she could have acquaintances who are typical Washington lawyers.

She FLEW to Rehoboth annually.

Why do you assume people who fear flying never get on planes?

My mom is terrified of flying. Terrified, as in white knuckle, give her something to knock her out so she sleeps the entire time terrified. But she still finds it necessary to get to far away places that it is impossible to drive to. So she gets on those planes and prays the entire flight. It's not pretty.

I have a cousin who is terrified of driving. She avoids it all costs, but has a car and drives it, but only when necessary and almost never on highways. She has never been on the beltway as a driver her whole life! Fords story is beleivable to me.

+1 I'm wondering if she's suffered from extreme anxiety her entire life.

That's believable. HOWEVER that's NOT what Ford says or Ford's actions.

Ford also admitted that she flew to pursue her interests in Hawaiian culture, oceanography and surfing.

“In fact, you fly fairly frequently for your hobbies and you’ve had to fly for your work, is that true?” Mitchell asked.

“Correct, unfortunately,” Ford answered.

She added, “It’s easier to travel going that direction when it’s a vacation.”

This is AFTER she said she would not fly to Australia on business. Her statements make NO sense.

Flying across a huge ocean is a totally different ball game than flying across land. As anyone who is afraid of flying will tell you.

There must be something to the Julie Swetnick accusation if rumpus is refusing to allow the FBI to invest!

How the F do you think she got to Hawaii and the South Pacific? Walked on water?

The information that has come out seems like he really has a lot of hate towards women he considers beneath himself. Look at the way he behaved toward the democratic senators and the prosecutor hired by the GOP! He apparently was fine with the women he considered his social equal, or more prestigious then he, and drank with them at Yale.
He seems to have targeted the women he considered to NOT be his equal - like Regine in high school, and Ms. Ramirez in college.

Also explains why the woman he dated who is now a judge says he did not attack her.

His behavior is sadly very consistent with the behavior of other men who are connected via wealth or power who are accused of attacking women. Men who have been republicans, democrats, famous actors, whatever weinstein was - producer? It crosses all lines.

How do you know the social standing of Ramirez? You just said he was fine with the women at Yale he socialized with. (That would be Ramirez). I'm not sure who Regine is? Yet another accuser has surfaced?

Where is the outrage over the White House running this investigation? That cannot stand.

Seems like he’s vulnerable on the threesome question.

As Olga Lautman put it:

Kavanaugh- I love beer.. Love love beer.

WH to FBI- do not investigate Kavanaugh’s drinking days

Dr Ford- I remember Judge working at Safeway

WH to FBI- do not investigate what year Judge worked at Safeway

Is she on twitter? I need to follow her. That is exactly what is going on.

The process only allows it to be done at the command and discretion of the White House in this scenario.

What happens at Prep... Time will tell. This is the bottom line, right? And why wouldn’t a criminal investigation be requested in Montgomery County regardless of what turns up by next Friday?

While Md law now has an open ended statue of limitations, back in 1982 it was a one year statue of limitation. The current law isn’t applied retroactively.

Damn I love Tom Fitton:

"Glad to see the Establishment finally acknowledge that President @realDonaldTrump has authority to direct the FBI."

I wonder if Kavanaugh will interpret the Constitution as fluidly as he interprets his yearbook entries.

So the FBI has reportedly already contacted Debbie Ramirez and presumably thus the Yale undergrad cohort, which would include his friend and roommate, who have already provided sworn statements supporting Ramirez and the overview of his fcked up drinking behaviors. Mark Judge felt such pressure he fled. He can’t hide any longer, and the pressure must be awful.

Keep posting the Holton Arms general yearbook. Keep showing you have no clue what a PHD and research career signifies. Keep sliming. This is going to end painfully for Judge Kavanaugh. RWNJ’s should be begging Kennedy and Cornyn and Graham to tell Trump to grab another name.
