To My AU Park Neighbor Who is Cutting Their Grass at 9:05A on SUNDAY 4/15...

You are a self absorbed, rude, obnoxious pain in my ass. Thanks for the wake up roar.

What a lazy ass you are!

It's a gorgeous day. Get your ass out of bed and take a walk.

sorry that someone actually cares about his lawn

Did you think that perhaps this was THE ONLY TIME he had available?

Just be glad that he's mowing the lawn. You'd complain also if he didn't.

Agree with PP. It's a beautiful day. If you're well, get up. If not, put in some earplugs.

OP, what would be an acceptable time to start mowing so as to not wake you up from your (I'm sure much needed) beauty sleep?

I'm with you, OP. I live in AU Park and have a neighbor who likes to mow the lawn at 9:00 Sunday morning. I think it's pretty inconsiderate to use power equipment before 10:00. And it's not a question of that being the only time slot available all weekend long, it's just when he decides to do it, neighbors be damned. But for many of us, Sunday morning is the one time during the week where we can try to sleep in or else just relax a bit before kicking off yet another busy day. I don't understand why some people fetishizes their lawns, and I response to 9:29, I'd rather he mow less frequently and allow some peace.

9 AM on a Sunday is bordering on a little early though I'm pretty good at tuning loud noises out. I think 10 AM is probably a little more considerate. However, once summer comes and it starts getting sweltering early, can't really blame people who want to mow early or late.

I'm OP--and I agree that on sweltering days this would be fine--but a beautiful peace flu Spring morning when everyone has their windows open? That is just obnoxious and you are on my shit list for doing this. Same woman turns her screaming toddlers out into the backyard, alone, like yapping dogs, at 7:00AM most Sundays so, I shouldn't be surprised.

someone is living in the wrong place and it's not the grass cutting neighbor.

9:05?! Really?? I'm glad I don't live in your neighborhood, and it's not because of the lawn mowing neighbor.

OP, you're not entitled to sleep past 9 a.m. Fuck you.

AU Park resident here - It is not uncommon to have the paid mowers out and about at 7:30 AM. If everyone else was following some agreed to guideline I would be with you. But they aren't.

Get some coffee and enjoy the day
