It’s him alright!

The outfit looks like someone went to the store to pick what they envisioned a hiker in Tucson to wear.

It’s as if the person doesn’t normally dress this way so it’s not their personal style and they’ve chosen pieces that fit that mental description.

Respectfully the perp doesn’t look like someone who could lift 175/185 woman alone.

The seam across the chest, sealed zippers, the thickness of the material (you can see this in the sleeves)....

I challenge any of you to find that coat online. (And no, it's not Nike, which is what everyone is saying.).

It looks like a FedEx jacket

It's not. Don't be sloppy.

Yes, Fedex has a stripe across the front, but it's wider than this one. They don't have sealed seams. They are not lined with fleece in the sleeve.

I wish I took a screenshot of it, but somebody identified the jacket in a comment on one of those Twitter threads. If I find it, I will come back and post the link. It was identical and it was not a brand that I know.

This is not remotely the jacket. Look at the location of the stripe. Look at the wrist band construction. Look at the fleece material on the close-up in the photo and the nylon-like fabric of the link. People. Stick to your strengths. This is not f*#&ing Blues Clues.

I'm back to say that it's not the jacket (it's not fleece), but they are very similar. and f*#& you.

If these are the same flowers used to obscure his face, it would seem he didn’t come back out the front door given the pieces of flower right on the doors edge. As if no one had gone in or out of the door after the flowers dropped.

Someone on Reddit pretty certainly identified the backpack as one sold at Walmart. I hope the authorities have gone to both the Tucson Walmarts and also asked corporate to pull records for anyone who bought the backpack.

If I were PCSD I would also be asking all the orthopedists and pain management clinics in Tucson for any records of a male aged 20-40, about 5’10” medium to slim build, brown hair. who was treated for a right knee or hip injury in the past year. There actually aren’t that many places someone would go in Tucson itself (not sure about if you go down to green valley or up to casa grande etc—-might add a couple more)

If I were th fbi profiler, I would say:
Male, aged approx 25-35, medium to slim build, average height, brown hair, likely Mexican-American descent, facial hair, likely works in a blue collar job lie delivery, construction, home repairs or has a girlfriend/spouse who does home cleaning or similar, likely injury to his right knee or hip, likely left handed, lives within 75 miles of Tucson.

Her mom doesn’t look that big. She looks short in a picture standing next to Savannah. Even so, we can’t get a good gauge on his strength just off looking at him. There are plenty of people who are strong but not lean.

The person who posted it to twitter used a colorized AI image. That is so ridiculous.

LOL agree! Seriously, people. You're overthinking it. He's wearing like an Old Navy fleece. His jacket has lighter colored hems around the wrists. And the jacket does not have a stripe! It's the backpack strap!

What would make you think that? You don't think they could have just stepped on or over the flowers? Thank God it's not up to DCUM to solve this mystery.

Mexican men under 5’5 can pull heavier loads during construction. You guys are acting like the mom is 500 pounds
