Hmmm whaaa? |
Politicians already get a bad rep for being slimy, smooth, not answering direct questions and outright lying. Vance acted like a exaggerated version of that last night. He was lying about obvious, proveable things (Donald Trump lost in 2020 (he did), Donald Trump peacefully transferred power in 2020 (he didn't), Donald Trump promoted ACA/Obamacare (he didn't), Haitian immigrant community in Springfield are illegals (they aren't), Vance never in favor of national abortion ban (he's on record and audio saying he would like an national abortion ban). It was a crazy amount of lies on big, major, important significant things. How does Vance tell such enormous, egregious lies with such ...ease?? It's chilling. |
That’s the only way to be part of the Trump campaign. It’s easier to lie than to justify the unjustifiable. |
Big, major, important significant things on which he is easily proven wrong. It’s not even opinion based things, he’s just wrong. |
Part of authoritarianism is to get people to tell lies for you. JD knows he’s telling lies, he’s telling America that we need to accept his MAGA reality. |
Way to go Yale! |
On overtime pay, Trump slips up by accidentally telling the truth
Donald Trump admitted that he concocted a private-sector scheme to avoid paying his own employees overtime compensation. So much for his “pro-worker” pitch. Former president and current GOP nominee Donald Trump on Sunday admitted he ‘hated’ to pay his staff overtime and would instead replace them with other workers to avoid doing so. Trump’s confession came during a campaign rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, after promising to deliver ‘gigantic tax cuts’ via his pledge to end tax on tips, on overtime and on social security benefits for seniors.” “I know a lot about overtime,” the Republican candidate boasted. “I hated to give overtime. I hated it. I’d get other people, I shouldn’t say this, but I’d get other people in. I wouldn’t pay.” |
It’s not the first time though. He complimented Elon on firing so many twitter employees. But yeah, Trump is good for working Americans/s |
Twitter is working well with a 75% cut in staff. That's a fact.
Sorry democrats. |
That may be so. But you can’t say you believe in American job creation and applaud firing people with no notice. That doesn’t lead to stability. |
It actually isn't working well, which is why so many of the content generators it relied on have left the platform and the value is also down about 75% since elon bought it (with saudi, russia, chinese and PDiddy money.) |
Wrong. Twitter has lost billions and 72% of its value since Elon purchase. Investors and users left. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2024/09/01/musk-twitter-investors-underwater/ https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2024/01/since-elon-musks-twitter-purchase-firm-reportedly-lost-72-of-its-value/ |
Teeny weeny caveat. It's worth less than what Elon bought it for... ![]() Shows how much you know, moron. |
Not very well. |
