Wes got a little full of himself with the schedule he put together.

SJC has little offense this year.

And Yes, I do think Good Counsel will give them a very close gsme.

SJC will be just fine. Out of conference schedule is brutal. Biggest issue is faceoff. Lack of 50/50 chances is very concerning. No possessions= little offense. Young defense learning vs. nationally ranked opponents. Will be battle tested come WCAC Play.

Isn't that the issue. 2 and 3 years ago, SJC was beating those teams. Last year they were competitive and this year not very much. Speaks should go back to the original plan of just getting an entire Hawks roster and filling in the gaps. I guess it doesn't matter since he's a short-termer.

The Annapolis Hawks pipeline to Miliary Road has dried up.

Families are opting to stay home in Annapolis to stay at Spalding, Saint Mary's and even Severn.

Speaks better hit the HS transfer portal as things don't that drastically better in 2025 either.

I thought SJC landed one of the top players from the Hawks 28 team?

Pipeline? That was one class. Need a top FOGO transfer. Don’t you worry. Thats happening.

The Highland Park coach’s last name is Pressler.

Do the Annapolis kids who go to SJC drive there every day from Annapolis??????

If they do, you know sports is more important than education...
Or you could just move to this side of the bridge for SJC lacrosse....

Annapolis is on the the same side of the bridge as SJC dummy.

It was a pretty good class. My memory is SJC started with 12 and finished with 8 and Dunkel/draley padded their stats when they were younger. The Hawks families figured out it was about 90 minutes each way in rush hour.

There's no fogo transfer willing to come from wherever and live in someone's basement, unless it's Dunk's. basement Any fogo transfers are locked up by GP.

STA has 80 boys per class give or take and fields the best tennis, golf, and running teams and has a pretty good baseball team. You know how many that siphons off? Your school of 900 boys just played a team distilled from about 40 total lacrosse players across 4 classes.

And last year, there were over 30 boys who went to Ivys, and the likes of Duke, Georgetown and Williams. Throw in UNC, Notre Dame, UVA and its over 40. Of course those kids took and submitted their tests scores.

STA Mom got TRIGGERED!

Pretty sure he didn’t assume that the #1 player in the class would be injured during this portion of the schedule. Shame that the best player in the area isn’t able to play right now.

Poor STA lost to previous winless St Anne's-Belfield (1-5). STA moves to 5-3, but their 5 wins come against teams that have a total of 4 wins combined.
