| I think it is frightening to know that he is still on the loose. |
I don't understand this - there would be no signs of forced entry if someone answered the door and someone forced his way in, right? |
Pretty routine to take DNA, fingerprints, etc when someone is arrested and certainly when convicted. And then the first thing the cops do when they obtain usable evidence is to run it against the database. Good way to narrow the pool and see if it's a repeat offender. |
Agreed. He's 5'7 and 155lbs. The person in the video had a slim build. |
Or back in Jamaica. |

There was probably an accomplice, but still looks very random. They may have been targeted (maybe he saw their house as a contractor or yard worker, etc) but this isn't some ex business partner or employee. Nor is it some shady Caribbean dealings. It should be obvious this guy has no axe to grind with the owners, and it's exceptionally unlikely some dude hired this guy.
Dude who saw a window of opportunity, took it, went too far with it. |
| Is this a manhunt like for Jesse Matthew? Are we supposed to be on the lookout? |
| He has a burglary and a malicious destruction of property charge. |
Don't be an idiot. It is not racial profiling to suggest that a black man with dreadlocks is not the common demographic in a swanky area of NW and would stand out. |
People. He wasn't alone!!!! |
Maybe he was hiding in the bushes when the maid went out back for a minute then forced her back in the house. There are lots of ways to get in a house without breaking in especially during the day. Your bringing groceries into your house and someone could follow you right in. |
they don't . |
Thank you. Those girls are two of the sweetest I have ever met, and most undeserving of such a tragedy. I remember when Philip was born - you could see what joy he instantly brought to the family and those around him. Our community has suffered a great loss, and I can only hope that this never happens again. |
| Watching NBC4. Saying Wint is believed to have left the DMV area. |
| This reminds me of the Petit family killings in Connecticut where the wife and two daughters were brutally murdered and Dr. Petit survived. Reinforces the idea that often these violent criminals are planning to murder anyways even if you give them whatever you have so I think, despite how scary a situation is when being threatened, one's best chance of survival is realizing this underlying reality and acting accordingly. Prayers for the victims' families in this case esp their two daughters who were at boarding school. |
