News4 said he has left the DC area.

my guess is that if authorities know he left the area after the crimes, it was by plane.

Agreed. He's 5'7 and 155lbs. The person in the video had a slim build.

People. He wasn't alone!!!!

I can't see how he could have.
How could one guy over take 4 people, including one who was trained in 3 advance martial arts specialities?

They may have been targeted (maybe he saw their house as a contractor or yard worker, etc) but this isn't some ex business partner or employee. Nor is it some shady Caribbean dealings. It should be obvious this guy has no axe to grind with the owners, and it's exceptionally unlikely some dude hired this guy.

Dude who saw a window of opportunity, took it, went too far with it.

Sadly that is probably exactly what happened.

I mentioned that when that incident happened and got flammed.

So why the choppers over the Normanstone-Woodland neighborhood?

Well I hope they tell us where he is going. He may try to break into another home to hide out.

Ah, racial profiling at its best

Don't be an idiot. It is not racial profiling to suggest that a black man with dreadlocks is not the common demographic in a swanky area of NW and would stand out.

Looks like he's a multiple times deadbeat dad as well. Who would sleep with this animal?

Too bad DC doesn't have the death penalty.

One man's racial profiling is another man's sensible extrapolation of demographic data.

Why would the suspect be there? Has to be unrelated

It's DC, not New Canaan. DC is a melting pot - not uncommon to see people of varying races in the area. I live around the corner.

I think it is frightening to know that he is still on the loose.

This is just for DC, not Maryland or Va. So 2,300 murders only a 1/3 solved....there are a lot of murders out there.
Despite record drops in the number of murders and record closures in recent years, homicide in the District remains a tough crime to solve and prosecute. A Post review of nearly 2,300 slayings in the city between 2000 and 2011 found that less than a third have led to a conviction for murder or manslaughter.
