He’s from the Midwest, who keeps calling him a hillbilly? |
No. Not all on this forum and probably not all in this world. He is one of many possibilities but moreso he is possibly last to have seen her. |
Thus far, there is ZERO evidence that she was a victim of anything but her own poor choices & irresponsible behavior. She was very drunk -to the point of throwing up, and chose to go out on the beach with a strange guy (who was also stumbling drunk and vomiting) and go swimming in the dark on a red flag beach in rough water. In the middle of the night. And in an area that many others have drowned in recently, even in broad daylight. Did she deserve to lose her life for these irresponsible choices? Of course not! She was young and foolish as so many people are at that age. And we all feel terrible for the family. There is evidence that she is to blame. However, there is zero evidence that HE is to blame. Does that mean he is innocent? No. But thus far, there is no evidence to suggest guilt or foul play either. And there likely won’t be. |
They were on a boat outing at 10AM. They were not at the hotel. |

👍 my comments were for original poster. Her parents are grieving and have lost their world . PP wants a display of public outrage from them. People grieve differently they don’t always put up a show. Same goes for PP talking about social media posts by friends. Get a life. Looks like the parents and her friends have much more class than many posters here. |
When in doubt, just head to the boat excursion without Sudiksha and assume she intended to miss the boat trip she paid for? Just assume she’s still with the random drunk dude they just met when you last saw her drunk at the beach at 4am, and all’s cool? |
To me, that doesn’t make much sense. The parents presumably would not have her friends’ locations, so wouldn’t know if she was with them or not. Also find my phone is not particularly accurate (to tell if she is in her room, or at the bar or beach) and she would know that. |
Yep! This exactly. I’ve been reading post after post destroying his character. Also not okay. |
And imagine, for a moment, if you can, that a random drunk guy, would should have the presumption of innocence without evidence of a crime, has been held for nearly 2 weeks for ”irregular” questioning. |
Yes indeed. And multiple people have said that, multiple times. They assumed she was with him for a hookup and sleeping off a hangover with him, which is not unusual behavior for drunk college students on spring break. They assumed they’d see her later when they returned. |
Fairweather friends. |
?? Are you Riibe. Didn't know you use this site and yay there's power back on at the resort. |
It makes more sense that he assumed she’d left him to be with her friends (a guy she’d just met and who vomited all over the beach and passed out), than for the friends to assume she was bypassing the excursion to be with the rando guy. They all dropped the ball, but friends the most who knew she didn’t even have her phone. |
And TBH I am not sure how much more resources need to be spent in searching for someone who exhibited such irresponsible behavior. |
