It has been reported she made a boat Venmo payment so likely supposed to go.

Had Ribe notified the friends at 10am that he was back alone and had not seen her in hours, they likely would have raised the alarm immediately. He knew from CJ that they had texted looking for her.

They were on a boat outing at 10AM. They were not at the hotel.

Yes but I think posters think the friends could have made sure she was definitely not going on the excursion (someone said Venmo history was released and she had Venmo her friend for the outing). When they heard the young man had not returned (not sure if that part matches timeline), they could have assumed that she was still with him.

We don’t know what he told CJ since he did not answer that LE question. We know he did not communicate that to friends, resort or LE. Friends had to deduce she was missing when returned at 4.

All the detail about his arm on her neck could be trying to get a story out if she is found with bruising on her throat.

They barely knew the girl, and had just met her the night before. It really wasn’t their responsibility. When someone is missing for just a few hours, it is very likely they will turn up. Even if they’d reported it to the hotel (“hey this girl is kind of missing? Haven’t seen her in a few hours. Her name is sudisa or something like that? No, I don’t know her last name. No, I don’t know her room number? Her friends are on a boat excursion and don’t have cell service). You really think the hotel was going to take that seriously or start some type of official search? Especially as reported by guys that are still likely drunk from the night before? I doubt it.

Perhaps you didnt read repeatedly posted comments above. It seems the friends did try to figure out if she may still have been with the guy before they left for the outing. Apparently the young man's friend replied young man (Riibe) hadn't returned. So the friends assumed she may be with him. Maybe they looked around too for her, don't know. When they returned from outing and still didn't see her they reported.

We are hearing about Riibe from his community. There is nothing about Sudiksha from her community, school friends, college friends etc., not just the 5 friends who went on the vacation - where is the outrage? At this point, I have no idea what sort of person she is.

There was speculation on the internet (I don't remember what site) that she gave her phone to her friends because of "find my phone" type services. So that if her parents were tracking her movements by phone location, it would look like she was with her friends.

To me, that doesn’t make much sense. The parents presumably would not have her friends’ locations, so wouldn’t know if she was with them or not. Also find my phone is not particularly accurate (to tell if she is in her room, or at the bar or beach) and she would know that.

Yes indeed. And multiple people have said that, multiple times. They assumed she was with him for a hookup and sleeping off a hangover with him, which is not unusual behavior for drunk college students on spring break. They assumed they’d see her later when they returned.

There is evidence that she is to blame. However, there is zero evidence that HE is to blame. Does that mean he is innocent? No. But thus far, there is no evidence to suggest guilt or foul play either. And there likely won’t be.

We don't actually know whether she was supposed to go with them on the day trip, but even assuming she was... they knew she was drunk & with a guy in the wee early hours of the morning (probably only a couple of hours before they went on the excursion). Would they really be shocked when she didn't show? Maybe they had gone home to sleep because of the excursion and when she chose to stay out they assumed she was blowing it off.

As soon as they got back and couldn't find her, they reported her missing.

It would be helpful to know why they had her phone. Did she leave it in her room because it was dead from the power outage or because she didn't want to get it wet/sandy at the beach? Not weird at all. Did she hand it off that evening? Weirder, but still not that weird if it had died.

It has been reported she made a boat Venmo payment so likely supposed to go.

Had Ribe notified the friends at 10am that he was back alone and had not seen her in hours, they likely would have raised the alarm immediately. He knew from CJ that they had texted looking for her.

It makes more sense that he assumed she’d left him to be with her friends (a guy she’d just met and who vomited all over the beach and passed out), than for the friends to assume she was bypassing the excursion to be with the rando guy. They all dropped the ball, but friends the most who knew she didn’t even have her phone.
