Candiace and the new girl aren't going to last long. To be honest this should be Candiace's last season, she bring nothing to the show except misery.

Keeping my fingers crossed. Candyass has turned into her mother and is just vile. Her disgusting comments toward the other women are over the line. I can't stand her.

Ashley, is and was always a very messy and whiney person.

Candace while being stuck up at times and not willing to accept her flawsless has never truly rubbed me the wrong way

Ashley has always had this resentment against Candace


And has kept it bottled in, just waiting for the right moment

And bomb, the right moment happened


It was foul of her to write a statement against Candace fueled out of anger from their past


This isn’t going to sit well with Giselle and Robin, and that’s how Ashley is trying to keep cool with

I just watched this morning and though I can't remember the exact way she said it, I remember thinking this is not an apology. It was said in a way that implied Ashley was sensitive and misinterpreted Candiace's actions and it was all Ashley's fault for being upset. She cannot just come out and say "I messed up. I'm sorry I hurt you."

She did threaten her with a (butter) knife during one of her tantrums last season. However, as bad as that was, it has nothing to do with Monique attacking her this season. The two incidents are completely unrelated. I could see if Ashley gave a statement on Monique’s behalf, attesting to her character, parenting skills, etc. But the butter knife incident should be left out of this.

Side note - as bad as what Monique did was, I have to roll my eyes at how dramatic Candiace keeps making it. She makes it sound like she went through something life-altering. Give me a break. Monique did attack her, but it was pretty much just pulling her hair. Painful, I’m sure, but it’s not like she was “injured.”

It’s clear when she “apologizes,” that she’s just humoring the other person and is inwardly rolling her eyes. Very sincere. And then out comes the folded up Kleenex to blot the tears.

It is related, it’s a character statement about Candiace and supports Candiace’s own violent history. Didn’t Monique file charges based on Candiace throwing the glass in Monique’s face?

What are you talking about? I think Monique has found this thread. None of what you wrote ever happened. No one threw a glass at Monique. When she lunged at Candiace, the table flipped and a drink spilled on her. Gizelle didn’t shove anyone. Nice spin.
