It is related, it’s a character statement about Candiace and supports Candiace’s own violent history. Didn’t Monique file charges based on Candiace throwing the glass in Monique’s face?

I hope at the reunion they address Gizelle shoving Monique in the beginning which set her off to then grab Candiace.[/quote]
