What 2011 teams are qualifying this year??

McLean is #1 GA in the area yet no kid going to either session.

But in reference to not being a starter how does that kid get recruited for college? Does player hope the starter puts in a good word?

Richmond and VDA 09 rosters are 90% committed. It’s not just the starters, while starters at Arlington, Union, VRSC are uncommitted but probably went to training centers in the past.

So if your not getting playing time you will still get recruited by top school because the team is winning. Got it, glad that is cleared up.

Just because you’re not starting doesn’t mean you’re not playing. this is factual because commitments are posted. Do you know of any teams that are able to start 15 players?

So as long as they get a little playing they will get into D1 program with a good amount of financial aid?

It will run it course like all the other ID sessions. Season is coming to an end for most teams have 1 or 2 games left before kicking into HS soccer.

The player gets seen by all of the colleges that are there to see the team and the opponent. The colleges don’t stop looking when subs are made. Also coaches of high-level teams like that, rotate starters in showcases and in league games because usually everyone is a really good player, but only 11 can start.

You people are clueless! Either parents of mediocre, recruiting age players or parents of u littles that don’t have any of this experience yet. PP that said you should talk to parents of committed players within your club is right.

The political charity selections for the training center that play in the GA aren’t going to top programs anyways.

If you’re 2010, where would you rather be? BSC or VDA without a training center invitation or would you rather be at Loudoun or SYC OR Alexandria with a training center invitation?

Poster not referencing GA vs ECNL debate. Poster clearly stating that top programs are not looking for backups. They want starters. Not enough top programs to support backups. Let's say you just look at ECNL in same conference e against same competition. The starter from another team is getting looked at more due to same competition with less support. VDA starter over Arlington bench warmer for that top spot.
