I don’t know them personally but I can tell you this…. The mother and sister of CB and the former au Pair who was very close with CB used to be on social media connected to BBs mother. Remember, the families are from the same area. Then, at one point they all “unfriended” BBs mother. Something happened.

In deleted posts on another site someone said that there was coldness between CB's family and BB at funeral. Her dad is LE and her mom, too, no?

I can't imagine what this is like for them and Joe's family and friends as AP's lawyer smears both in death and BB smirks at it all with duper's delight.

BB and CB met as teens and their families had known one another for decades.

The CB text is poignant to me, BB seems very cold as a baseline and was having an affair in the marital home. She may have lost weight as part of this birthday gift scene and I bet she was lonely. BB's was off at the gym with chubby AP with the rack. The poor child was living in a crazy environment even before losing her mom and 1/2 her extended family. I hope karma comes for BB. None of this would have happened without his machinations. Not death, not Fe&life, none of it.

We don’t know that CB even sent that message. Yes, she sent a pic to her husband but we don’t know who was communicating with JR. Given law enforcement statements early on that they believed someone else set up the account I’m hoping that the chats through the site clearly show that the person posing as CB was not a native English speaker

This is a key question. This case is messy. I need the silver haired fox Keith Morrison to parse the details.

Maybe AP or CB. I don't think we'll ever know. If it's a fact that JR introduced the idea of a bringing a knife - that doesn't look great.

JR’s friends have said that this was not his first time utilizing the website to connect with people. He most definitely went over every detail of what CB consented to.
JR was connecting with a profile online that was expressing a desire to have fake sexual assault and rape… I don’t think it’s that far off for him to then ask what else she’s into, including but not limited to “knife play”.
I think the sickest thing is that JR and whoever he was communicating with most, definitely established a ”safe word” and CB didn’t know it.
$20 says when more transcripts of the conversation come out whoever was posing as CB probably told JR she was going to put on the best show he had ever seen and that it would seem completely real.

I agree with everything said here. One single detail that came to mind, apparently CB and JR had a 40 min conversation on the phone, so JR immediately praised her sexy voice. In this case, let’s say if CB didn't know anything about the cuck*d meeting, and someone was impersonating her, wouldn't JR have noticed that CB voice wasn't similar to the person he had talked to on the phone? once he entered the house and found CB in the bedroom, She probably panicked, screamed, said something to him….

Defense and Prosecutor entered several pieces of evidence. Including:
- A copy of the chats between CB and JR was entered under seal
- Multiple pictures of the scene were entered, many under seal.

Defense's Argument

- Prosecutor previously "misstated" that AP had bought plane tickets using her passport.
- She actually had used to apply for a work visa and student visa. AP was legally in the country at the time of her arrest with no intention of leaving.
- Prosecutor has not provided any actual evidence of a conspiracy. Just public statements.
- AP was actively dating multiple people, did not deny relationship with BB during police interview, but mentioned she was dating several people.
- Prosecutor overstated extent of JR's incapacitation from first shot. The Medical Examiner stated that there was possibility that JR could see and move.


Prosecutor's Argument

- Prosecutor surprised Defense with a document showing that ICE has asked to be notified if she is release from custody, and they have a warrant for her. He is afraid that if she is released and ends up in federal custody, they will deport her.
- Prosecutor stated that there is no extradition treaty with Brazil, and that the Feds do not have to acknowledge the case's priority. Feds could just deport AP and then the state of VA has no control.
- Prosecutor also argued that she is manipulative and can be manipulated, and therefore still a danger.
- Displayed a picture of JR's body. JR was clutching his stomach on his back
- Mainly re-iterated things said previously at preliminary hearing.
- Mentioned that BB took the 5th on every question during prelim.


Other facts that came out (from chat transcripts and other things referred to by both sides)

- CB and JR communicated using Fetlife and Telegram.
- JR brought up the idea of bringing a knife, CB asked about the details.
- They discussed blood play (cutting)
- CB asked JR, "Do you still want to tear off my clothes? I have a set of old pajamas you can tear"
- A set of ripped pajamas was recovered from the scene
- Pics of a knife, ropes, chains, rubber restraints were sent by JR to CB
- CB took selfie in a bathing suit and sent to husband. A few hours later sent the same selfie to JR with caption: "I sent this to my husband and he didn't even notice I lost 20 pounds"
- Judge questioned about the 45 min phone call over telegram that occurred between CB and JR
- After the phone call, JR texted: "It was great hearing your sexy voice"
- JR wrote that he had only done blood play once before, with razor blades
- CB had several superficial cuts that barely broke the skin
- JR was in the process of cutting CB with BB walked in
- CB wrote "trip to the zoo" on calendar
- CB had multiple lacerations to her neck and carotid artery. Three lacerations to the right side of her neck were the most likely the cause of death
- In the second 911 call, (mentioned but not played) BB is trying to save CB's life by applying pressure

Judge's Decision
Denied bond for two reasons.
- First, that FCPD could lose jurisdiction/control if the Feds take custody and/or deport
- Second, that AP could still pose a risk to community.

There are tons of websites, apps, and computer programs to disguise your voice! I’ve used free ones to make prank phone calls. I’m sure if you pay for one you could sound like anybody in the world.

All of the details would have been worked out between JR, CB and BB. Only JR and CB were not aware of BB's true motives, to replace CB with AP, with whom he had an ongoing affair, to frame JR and to eliminate him as a witness.

Didn’t think of that but so true. I was duped by once by threatening phone calls and called the police. I identified the voice as African American and instead it was a white teenage punk from my daughter’s high school. He was using a readily available program

BB and AP did. They wanted CB out of the marital bed, home and unalived. So AP could slot into the bed, closet and picture frames in master bedroom.

That makes more sense. I too believe BB planned all that. He is LE, he knows how crime investigation works. He took his time and must have thought and orchestrated every single detail. That’s why it’s taking time for the police to get in. But eventually they will.

BB bought AP a gun a few weeks before the murders
BB bought himself and AP new phones a few days before the murders
BB could have just shot JR a second time if he was truly a threat (a knife vs a gun tho - come on!) but instead had AP run to the safe and grab a new gun.
BB/AP called 911 and hung up the first time

Also, they brought a preschooler into a home where they believed there was an active home invasion and danger. They did not call 911 from outside the house.

Curious if BB had called out from work that day.

Wasn't clear, where AP's lawyer CLAIMS they believed there was an active home invasion.

It is insane that AP would take a child into the house under those circumstances and fail to call 911 from outside or from the safety of a neighbor's home. Makes no sense at all, like the 2nd gun that would have AP's fingerprints and be used to silence her and throw her under the bus if need be.

AP’s lawyer claim that AP thought there was a home invasion doesn’t make sense because someone conducting a home invasion would not park in front of or near the house they plan to “invade.”

I think it's likely JR met with CB and BB, so she knew, may have thought it was for BB or a "gift" to him, but did not know the real purpose, obviously. I do not think it is likely she thought it was a home invasion. More may come out re: the phone call. I still think the knife idea originated with BB, too much of a coincidence. And not something that JR had done. I think it's likely that the 3 met in person. And she may have spoken to him on the phone. The puppet master was BB for very different motives.
