These coaches aren’t getting paid top dollar to coach HS lacrosse folks.

True, some of them seem to actually be paying to coach.

Landon won 12 - 6.

Not that many people care about JV scores on here but Bears JV won over Saint Mary's too.

Does anyone have a recap of the Bullis - GC score?

Looked like it was a rather competitive game?

Bullis was up 5 with about 2 min left. GC went on a 3-goal run. Don't know what it felt like in the stadium, but it seemed like Bullis stopped playing. GC was fired up and scored 2 goals in 20 seconds.

GC is much improved. Look like a lacrosse team again. I haven’t seen the rest of the WCAC play but they will probably be competitive in every game.

Good for area lacrosse as a whole if GC becomes strong agin.

The Falcons had some very strong teams back under the Coach Durkin era which was 10+ years ago. I recall they made it to the WCAC finals a few times during this era.

SJC is not the 2022 team. When that team was majority freshman, they were playing some of the best teams in the country in tournaments in the fall and summer and losing on ESPN. But, I remember the commentators saying they may be losing now, but they will be a force down the line. And, they were. Its disappointing to see them lose now. And sure, I have issues with the way they are being coached. But if Wes listened to me, he would be in the stands with me later this year. SJC will be ok. They obviously are not going 19-0. Can they win the WCAC? Maybe. You have to be realistic. I'd rather have Wes running the show than King or Smith or whoever is at DM.

I can confidently say NO ONE in the WCAC is at the level of Culver and St. Anthony’s. Once St. John’s gets to the WCAC games they will walk everyone. Repeat

Very true. Glaring difference right now is at the X position. They need one that can go 50/50.

Gonzaga looked like a better team last night against Boys Latin, the game was close than the final score showed. Cadet's offense is not scaring anyone this year compared to previous season. Plain and simple, the WCAC is down this year on the national stage.

Based on early season results, the WCAC title is up grabs this Spring between these teams: GZ, SJC, PVI and GC. Not one of these teams is light years better than the other this season.

Will be critical to see which teams improve between now and early May, can avoid the injury plague, and play with discipline.

Will be fun to watch down the stretch!

St. Mary's coach is an embarrassment. There's no way that team plays anywhere close to their potential.

Landon's close-defense, despite not having any D1 or D3 commits, has improved tremendously since the start of the season. Saint Mary's couldn't get anything going yesterday and Haveford's offense on Saturday looked way out of sync against the Bears. If Landon's offense can play more consistent and if their players can learn to shoot, I fully expect the Bears to be back in the IAC title game.

On a different note, after watching Haveford on Saturday against the Bears, I would have thought McDonogh would have beat the Fords. Just goes to show you, anything can happen. I also caught the 2nd half stream of the GZ - BL game last night and Eagles showed they have the athletes to run with the best teams in the country. The game last night could have gone either way, BL goalie made some fantastic saves down the stretch. If GZ can stay focused, I fully expect them to be back in the WCAC ship in May.

Who is running DM?! It will be a long year for them.

It will be interesting to see if they can do anything against a very solid GC team next week.

Watched Bullis/GC last night. Biggest takeaway, I don’t think either team is very good. That being said, it maybe good enough for this down year. Maybe we have a bunch of avg teams this year.

GC is small, pretty feisty and athletic, but goalie and fogo are not up to par. Don’t think they can contend yet in WCAC, but the coach is good and they are building.

Bullis has some talent, but a couple of kids just turn the ball over way too much. Like simple throwing/catching and running into trouble. Goalie and attack are very good.
