It's so Shakespearean. A classic that will be retold for future generations. |
DNC also screwed over Bernie 2x for the nomination. And Howard Dean. |
Aren’t they tight with Oprah? Maybe you could ask her. She seems to think H&M have been wanting privacy too. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.today.com/today/amp/tdna219124 |
Honestly feels very well-thought out and reasonable. Thanks for sharing! |
No problem. So can we all stop pretending they haven’t expressed an interest in privacy now? They want privacy when it’s convenient for them. But they also want to share details of their lives (and those of their family members) when it’s profitable for them. |
Very twisted interpretation. That's not at all what I gathered. If that's your conclusion, then literally every single person in the public sphere must also be conniving and narcissistic? |
Do you actually have Harry and Meghan on record saying they're leaving because they want privacy? I'm genuinely curious! I'm not on either "side". |
Duh, isn’t that what every celebrity wants? Why would they be any different. |
Meghan and Harry disliked the royal rota in large part because it didn’t allow them to pick their favored journalists to cover them. When you can pick and choose your journalists, you can ensure you only get softballs (like with the Oprah interview).
“The rota system is not perfect, but it does allow UK media to cover the British Royal Family – an institution maintained by the public purse. We cannot have a situation where journalists writing about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can only do so if they have the royal seal of approval,” said National Union of Journalists general secretary Michelle Stanistreet. |
Yes, there are other celebrities who also whine about their loss of privacy in a similar hypocritical fashion. I find them distasteful too. |
OMG you really still believe Bernie could have beat Trump, ever. You people and your Hilary hatred. It's nothing more than misogny-Bernie and Trump=2 sides of the same coin. |
They said they wanted privacy on their Sussex royal website. Meghan was very good when she was “on” as a royal. The issue is she didn’t like being the second tier couple, didn’t like ANY bad press about her (even though most was overwhelmingly positive) and really seems to thrive on drama (with her family, his family, the press, whoever).
What I found most telling were the stories from her first maid of honor and her former manager and her uncle that all pretty much said, in different ways, that she uses people, then ghosts them. She did the same with the royal family. She and Charles shared such a special bond that he walked her down the aisle. Then he cut off their money and boom - he’s blacklisted. |
This is demonstrably not true. |
