O hara and Ryan are phony charlatans. Their teams are a representation of the club: shitty and lacking any real quality or sense of play. But, they’re the best at what truly matters in American youth soccer: marketing and sales. After all, you must have a knack to convince parents to support your lifestyles, right?

^those two coaches have sent dozens of players to top D1 schools in the last 5 years and won a youth National Championship...O’Hara was a US staff coach for U17 World Cup I believe but yeah anonymous DCUM poster is right they are Charlatans!

Is it any wonder why Loudoun Soccer parents catch so much crap on this forum? Excellent examples right here in this thread.

Culture difference between FCV and Loudoun is night and day. Different worlds, which is part of the reason for the results.

FCV = people who played growing up and watch/follow pro soccer. Loudoun = people who played football and baseball growing up and follow the Steelers, Nats and Caps and flip on a Barca or Liverpool game for 5 minutes every 6 months.

I don’t agree with the part about Loudoun people playing sports growing up. They seem more like the ones getting pushed around as kids and now they’ve made it financially as adults. It fits with the whole Loudoun pay to play plus model of travel soccer, with 15 teams per age group and social connections needed for top teams. If I had to guess where the baseball and football player parents are, I’d guess more VDA, Braddock Road, Herndon, and SYC, along with a few at FCV. Also, most Loudoun parents would never watch La Liga, only EPL and likely MU, for 5 minutes.

It was just an informed opinion. Isn’t that what this forum is for?
