If you want more info, this account has a ton. All from Myka’s own mouth. It’s unbelievable how selfish, narcissistic, and vain she is.

A couple years ago she and her husband raised money from her followers to adopt a little boy from China. They already had three older kids. The adopted son had a lot of trouble adjusting to his new country and home and their actions seem to have made it worse (they continued to travel a lot after he came home, built a new house, and even had a new baby within 2 years of his joining their family). Most people in this realm seem to strongly advise that you "nest" with the kid for at least several months (meaning you basically quarantine yourself in the house) to help him or her adjust but they didn't do any of that.

Anyhow, they just put up a video admitting they sent him back to the adoption agency which finally placed him with a new family after a couple false starts.

WTF, I had no idea you could do this. This poor kid. If you can't do this with a bio kid, why should you be allowed to do it with an adopted kid?

You'd be surprised how many "forever" homes turn out not to be, I forget the percentage but it's definitely 2 digits. Which is why the term "forever home" really pisses me off, especially because the point is made most intensely for the kids (special needs, older, etc) who are most likely to be returned.

he has autism

OMG I can't bear to watch, I hate this who does this. Either adopt or don't but to send a child back to their country, who is gonna adopt him now?

He wasn’t sent back to China, his new home is in America with a mom who is a medical professional.

As opposed to Myka, who was a hospital nurse?

I mean I’ve obviously heard it is very difficult but I’ve never heard of someone giving their kid away because of it.

Many families who have children with severe autism have them in residential care.

Untrue. There is a tiny percentage of kids in residential care. They have to qualify for medicaid and impossible to care for at home. That is almost never a 4 year old. It is mostly big strong teenagers who can no longer be safely contained at home.

Well, there was just the case of the mom in Florida who drowned her kid because he had autism and she couldn’t take it. So people do worse than rehoming.

Yes, depending on the child, it can be unbelievably hard. Life-ruining. But she elected to make that choice for herself and her family when she adopted-most people have the life thrust upon them.

The range rover alone could fund years of therapies.

A tiny percentage of the tiny percentage of children with severe autism are in residential care. And hardly any four year olds (if any).

they chose to keep the car, not their child.

what disgusting foul excuses for human beings this couple is

If Myka spent less time using her children as a prop to make a dollar, and actually spent time meeting their needs, and caring for them, she would have seen much more progress with Huxley.

No one ever said it was autism alone. And he has the most severe grade of autism.

And Radical Attachment Disorder. That alone is a huge challenge, coupled with all of the existing SNs. It's exceedingly hard to treat those needs when you can't even establish a bond.

Reactive, not Radical.

Seems odd to speak as if you know and make that mistake.
