Public Trump Impeachment Hearing Mega Thread

Anonymous
Are there any Trump supporters on here willing to admit this is deeply problematic, bad, unconstitutional, and worthy of impeachment? Reading conservative media and the comments, I feel so gaslit. This is all a "nothinburger" or Deep State conspiracy. I cannot believe they actually believe this.

Lost in all the faux outcry about due process and the whistleblower is the memo/transcript of the call, where Trump leans very heavily on the Ukrainian president. That memo/transcript should be enough to rise about the partisan fray: either you think this is ok or it's not.

The fact that there was a delay in the aid is just icing on the cake.

Ummmm....... now what was it Schiff did for the first GOP questioner?

Taylor: (paraphrasing) the US shook the confidence of the young democracy

Jordan: That isn't what this is about.

What military aid did Obama administration give to Ukraine?

Jordan is very effective.

He demonstrated that both these guys were relying on information from others and if those individuals were wrong or then his conclusions were also wrong.

can I just pop in here to say that Mr. Kent is unexpectedly hot?

Kent: "You can't promote anti-corruption action w/o pissing off corrupt people."

And the people who were pissed off were the ones meeting with Guiliani and feeding the conspiracy theories.

Then you would love Brits ..... he comes across like a Brit in his mannerisms and way of talking. He shows a polite contempt an air of superiority.

The GOP's main argument seems to be that we haven't had a chance to hear from any of the people who spoke to the President directly - maybe if they weren't prevented fro testifying and providing documents, it would help the American public resolve this matter.

You thought that was effective?

They were testifying as to what they were told. Maybe the people who told them should testify?

Who’s asking question now? Listening not watching and missed the intro.
