What happens if a student does what this kid did two years into their program.

I don't see a consistently enforcible principle here. Just a lot of virtue signaling and trying to avoid shaming

To answer your bizarre whataboutism and straw men,

1) They don't rescind the degree but I'm sure they return any donations.
2) If a student did this two years into the program, the kid would certainly be expelled.

You don't see a consistently enforceable principle here because you're experiencing what's known as cognitive dissonance and confirmation bias. You're also making comparisons to hypotheticals that as I have pointed out are easily answered.

Are you the moron who presented someone's tweet as his own opinion yesterday?

Just stop. You're not a good person.

are you really that dense. College students do this kind of stuff all the time

the only difference here is that someone ratted him out. This ratting out was done with political motivations. If he had the same ideology as David Hogg this stuff would have never been reported

That is why conservatives are pissed. It's the double standard.

I can guarantee you that if David Hogg did this, conservative would rat him out. And guess what Harvard would do? They'd rescind the acceptance.

+1. Conservatives already dug up a vacation David Hogg took years before Parkland and used it to call him a “crisis actor,” whatever TF they think that is, plus he got death threats. That’s what David Hogg got for his ideology.

Please, David Hogg was not even at the school when this happened. In fact, according to him, he ran over there to take some video. I don't dispute that he was affected greatly as part of the community but I'm sick of people holding him up as some kid who came of age with this tragedy. He was a theatre, attention seeking person long before this ...

Also read this. The source that started the rumor about him not being there retracted it a long time ago, and yet rabid crazies still attack him for not being there and for lying to get attention. No one cares. Liberals are pissed because conservatives block sensible gun laws and allow people to shoot up places and only offer thoughts and prayers. Dead people vs. rescinded admission from Harvard. Yup, same thing.

And also, a conservative is pissed? What else is new? Have you ever met a conservative who was happy or capable of enjoying life? I haven’t?

^ right?! that is the most important and salient observation on this thread. this whole board in fact. they manage to whine and cry about *everything* even when they have everything! so unfair! everything is so unfair!!

There are people who still believe Hillary Clinton ran a child sex ring from the basement of Comet Ping Pong but can't fathom the possibility that Russia might have influenced Trumplandia.

Hogg nor Kyle nor any of the other super famous 12th graders were anywhere near the shooting. Their high school is over 3,300 students, spread out over four separate buildings. The most famous twerps were never in harm's way. It was literally across campus at a separate building for underclassmen.

Do all 33,000 college students at V Tech in 2007 get to call themselves a survivors of that school shooting too?

Yes, and the parents of the victims do too even if they were not in the building.

And all the people in the twin towers that did not die.
And all the people on the other side of the Pentegon.
And all the people on the phone with victims of the plane that crashed in Bedford, PA.

So true about "conservative" anger. I out that in quotes because these people aren't the conservatives that i grew up with. These folks lost their minds for 8 yrs with Obama and can't stop being angry. They seem to subsist on politicizing everything and need a constant jolt of indignation to keep themselves going. Some may say the same about " crazy liberals". But at least those people have a goal of improving the world around them.

Everyone at Virginia Tech in 2007 is a “school shooting survivor”? All 33,000 students? Because that’s essentially what the media did with these Parkland teens. Their high school campus is like a modest sized college - the shooting was in one building.

I am repeating that this is an obvious troll who should not be engaged. No one is this much of an a-hole for real.

There is an implicit assumption in Harvard's decision that is very troublesome: A Racist student does not belong at Harvard. Let's say every school adopted this posture. Where is such a student supposed to get educated and become more enlightened?

How about a woman who thinks all men are pigs. Does she not have a right to an education anymore because schools are supposed to reject her?

Can a hospital refuse to treat a racist? Can cops refuse to protect them? Can firefighters refuse to put out fires in a racist house?

All those who support Harvard's decision need to explain why other schools shouldn't follow Harvard's example and if every school does what happens to a students right to an education of they hold aboherrent views.

So nowadays there is a movement to allow convicted criminals to attend college, but s racist cannot? That's beyond stupid.
