Here’s a horrifying true story for you. My DH is a doc (caring, respectful one), and during his OB residency rotation another male resident wanted to give a birthing woman a deliberate 4th degree tear, as in he wanted to slice her open between her vagina and anus-because he “wanted the practice of stitching it and had never seen a severe one before” !!! My DH shut that down right away and reported the guy.
Unbelievably sick.

Hi I just wanted to update that this is no longer allowed. Great achievement for all!

In a letter to teaching hospitals, the federal health agency said that institutions could lose Medicare funding if they didn’t comply.
