She is beautiful like Diana, but not crazy. She is normal and relatable, and with the help of nannies or not, presents the most normal image of a mom as the British royals have ever seen.

Your "arguments" are completely asinine. People provide evidence - statistics, direct quotes - heavily indicating, if not outright proving, that William is rude and Kate is lazy. And your defense of them is - Why are we even talking about this? This is a DC website, not a London one.

If you don't want to talk about it, why are you even in this thread? Just admit that you can't defend them because their actions and statements at this time are indefensible! I don't think they are the worst people in the world, not by a long shot. But they're not the best either. They're overly privileged for no good reason, they're lazy, and William is rude. They take their privileged for granted instead of working hard to show that they are deserving of it, which any person with an ounce of humility would do in that situation. But if they are smart, they would care that this opinion is largely shared by the royal press and anyone who has more than the merest cursory knowledge of their actions and statements. Once the queen is gone, the whole concept of monarchy in the 21st century will be questioned and they will have to show why they are still relevant and deserving of their enormous privilege. At this point, they can't do that.
