The pay stub could also have been found as the killer waited around the Ramsey house on the 25th. I think the killer knew the Ramseys would be gone all day at their friends house. The killer brought the stun gun and planned to kidnap JB after the family got home and went to sleep. The killer had a lot of time in the house on the 25th and probably wandered around and then decided to write the note. He thought the note would buy him time but didn't really care about the money. After everyone came home the killer hid in the basement. Then he went to get JB but something went wrong and he panicked and realized he was not going to get her out of the house. He took her in the furnace room and tortured her and then left. The killer was a peodophile who had stalked JB. He probably saw her in the parade when she was Miss Christmas.

Someone from the party on 12/23 called 911 from the home. When the police came no one claimed to have called. It was probably the killer checking to see how long it would take the police to get there if 911 was called.

If it was Patsy, she did it accidentally when reprimanding JB for wetting her bed again. If it was Burke, the motive was jealousy, possibly because of some Christmas present. Parents would definitely cover for Burke.

The unidentified DNA was present, but in tiniest amounts. It's pretty easy to cross contaminate evidence as well, so I'm not convinced that it doesn't belong to a sloppy lab tech b/c it was detect years later. The house that they lived in wasn't conducive to a random intruder. It was huge and maze-like. It's doubtful that someone would be able to whisk the kid from her bedroom and murder her in a completely different part of the house.

I think the brother killed her and the mom covered it up. The son is appearing on Dr. Phil most likely b/c he will get paid.

I totally agree with this assessment. And adding -

- the perp would have had to have taken JB from her bed upstairs while the parents and Burke slept nearby,
- then fed JB the pineapple (it wasn't served at the party the family had attended that night and was found partially digested in her stomach),
- somehow placed Burke's fingerprints on that bowl of pineapple,
- handwrote a ransom note from a pad of paper in the family's house,
- somehow know the exact amount of the father's Christmas bonus,
- and left the house without anyone hearing or seeing them.

Also would have had to carry her, bash her head in, strangle her in the basement after making a tool, sexually assault her, then change and wash her with new panties and get her blanket and the knife. Also duct tape her mouth.

I don't think the assault was staged. The ransom note was staged. The assault could have been done by a man in his 60's who had a history of heart disease. He could not have made the garrote. I think after he hut JB, Patsy told him to get up to his room and not to come down. Then she either got John, or, on her own, carried JB down to the basement and started frantically deciding what to do. For all of you who think Burke was involved, how do you explain him not breaking or giving up this info when being interviewed by the investigators? There is no way my kid could have kept this secret or not appeared nervous or odd. This seems like such a stretch to believe he could have been involved and not outed the parents or himself.

I don't think he was typically developing, and I think they told him nothing after the hit. Just to go upstairs. He may have convinced himself the hit was not what killed her and that an intruder broke in after. Who knows. Also, we don't know what he told who. The grand jury indicted PR and JR as having put JB in a situation likely to cause harm and as murder accessories. Burke is the only Ramsey who testified before the grand jury. We don't know what he said and we don't know what the indictment says but the grand jury thought PR and JR were covering for someone. The only person that would be is for Burke.
