Who did you think killed JonBenet?

I've never read anything about how this plays into the theories. Elaborate.

And what does this add up to?

Sorry -

I think it adds up to this.

They come home from the party, and JB goes upstairs/is taken upstairs. Patsy and Burke are in the kitchen having a snack, the pineapple and tea. JB comes down in the red sweater she wore to the party, wet pajama pants and underwear, having wet the bed. Burke and JB get into some kind of fight and Burke slams JB in the head with a flashlight. Patsy thinks JB is dead or almost dead (it is quite possible JB went straight into a coma or was seizing violently). Although some think that Burke then took her to the basement and kept toying with her and then strangled her, I don't think so. It is established that Burke had a fine motor delay - as the mom of a SN kid, I think he likely had HFA or asbergers, which would explain the encocropesis that is made so much of in all of the theories. He could not have made the garrote. I think after he hut JB, Patsy told him to get up to his room and not to come down. Then she either got John, or, on her own, carried JB down to the basement and started frantically deciding what to do. I think that she knew Burke had a tendency toward violent behavior with JB - I have a son with serious impulse control issues who is only 4 - and I know I do not leave my kids alone together in situations where they might fight. I think she was there for the hit. That is why she never changed clothes. So, she took JB down to the basement, to the carpet area outside the wine cellar, and decided to make it look like an over the top sexually perverted murder. She strangled her after making a garrote with her paintbrush. This part is hard for me to wrap my head around, but either her or her husband must have done it. I am guessing they thought JB was dead. And then she or he made it look like she was molested. Then, she had to dress her all over again. She washed her down, grabbed the underwear from the packet wrapped up in the basement, redressed her, taped her mouth shut, and got her blanket from the dryer upstairs. Then she wrote that insane note, with help from John. Also think it is possible John did the strangling. I am not sure re the who was abusing her issue. I think if Patsy thought Burke she would not have let JB sleep in his room, which she apparently did Christmas night. I think if she thought it was John she would - hmmm. I don't know. But JB was being regularly taken to the doctor for UTIs and vaginitis. I think it is possible Patsy was making her use some kind of treatment like difulcan with suppositories that could cause some of the issues that were seen. Also, chronic yeast infections can do all kinds of things.

My theory is that Patsy in a rage pushed or shoved JB who hit her head on the edge of the tub or toilet while she was cleaning her up the bed wetting. She freaked out and realized she needed to make it seem like an outsider had killed the child. She began to set up the crime scene and was likely going to possibly hide the body outside (maybe a field etc...) to make it seem like an actual kidnapping but ran out of time.. Thus the same outfit and she was not expecting to have the house searched since the note said she had been kidnapped. Things changed when he came upstairs with the body but she couldn't say anything because well ... How do you explain this situation.

This sounds like a plausible theory to me!!

A lot of people have pointed to the fact that Burke had accidents frequently and did some odd poop play as evidence of his sexual abuse and general perversion/oddity. Kids with ASD are way more likely to have chronic constipation and have accidents.

Compared to neurotypical children and according to every doctor or research person that works with children with autism. See, as one of thousands of examples, http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/0300443032000079069. Kids with neurological conditions generally have low tone with causes issues with bowel movements. Seriously, though, this is not a peer review board, stop demanding a citation for noncontroversial statements. Also, google is your friend if you are really interested.

Can you cite a legit source for this?

I'm not trying to write a peer reviewed article here. You're not contributing anything Other than source demands. But yes, the book foreign faction written by the investigator on the case for a period gets into this. It's also well documented that Jon Benet had frequent accidents. You can google that one yourself.

You link doesn't work; maybe show me something from pubmed. Don't post stuff you can't back up. Yes, kids with low tone can have issues with bowel movements, but there's nots proof that kids on the spectrum will have more issues with constipation than NT. Not every kid on the spectrum is low tone.

I said on average. It's more likely. That's what more likely means. What is your damage, seriously? Are you deliberately obtuse? My kid has Asd and every dev ped and expert we have seen has explained this. It's settled. Drop it.

How do you know what I'm posting? If you are going to make a statement with off the rail info that no one has heard before then post where you are finding it. Back up your claim.

Yes, we know JB had frequent accidents. That isn't what was bolded or questioned, is it?

It's hardly off the rail. Both investigators that wrote books about the case wrote about it. March kercher and kolar both write about this.

I'm not the poster asking about Burke, but please stop posting crap about people on the spectrum. What you said is not true and the article you cited, says that "No data for children on the spectrum were found in the literature search, and indeed very little research related to this topic..."

Yeah, kids on the spectrum can have communication or behavioral issues that make them difficult to potty train, but stop making sweeping generalizations about autism.

DP. Ugh. Please stop, guys. No one is going to post any theories if they have to back up everything with sources and constantly worry about who might take things the wrong way and be offended.
