Why Asian American kids excel. It’s not ‘Tiger Moms.’

This country most likely would turn into a third world nation without the brain power of Jews/Asians.

Whites just can't stand Asians being smarter despite racism so it's always the same old attacks. I guess they have to add the disgraced Ivy lady's "Asian shame culture" attack to the arsenal.

What I really want to hear more from you about is how you got 2015-[1977 to 1983]-18=60. That's the most interesting thing you've posted so far.

Reading these posts makes me wonder who has this much time to be thinking about race.

You must be one dimensional Asian drone. You are so obsessed with number! Are you the Ivy school lady's Asian husband?

Funny how they beat the doors down to get into the Jesuit Georgetown University in order to develop that brain power.

Different poster here, but i do know that at least some of the Ivies did give academic scholarships many years ago. They have only given financial aid for a long time, but they used to give merit aid, also. I was offered an almost full tuition merit scholarship to one Ivy and a smaller one to another back in the late 70s, so I know they were giving them still at that time. I don't know exactly when they switched, but it was possible in the past to get merit scholarships to an Ivy League school.

That is not true. I know the Ivies gave only need-based aid since at least 1976 when I applied and it was not a new policy then.

Do jewish kids have tiger moms or does the tribe all have innate drive and intelligence?

They prep and study all the time. Not only that, they emphasize academics too much and lack creativity and leadership skills.

Wait, you never heard of a Jewish mother? Classic archetype in literature and entertainment. Watch the tv show the Goldbergs.

You're right. I guess I was misremembering, and this was later than 1976. They were very different amounts, so that's why I was thinking they were merit. And I was offered a lot more from the one Ivy than from a non-Ivy. I apologize for confusing the issue here.

The person who actually received the academic scholarship from an Ivy would know for sure. She should answer definitively.

They have drive, intelligence, and tiger moms. That said, the Asians are doing better in school but the jewish kids rock in the business world after school.
