Israel disgusts me.

The pictures speak for themselves.

As do the polls showing younger Americans strongly oppose Israeli policy.

https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/news/americas/13203-latest-gallup-poll-shows-young-americans-overwhelmingly-support-palestine

Soon only aging Baby Boomers will put up with the US allowing foreign policy and aid to be dictated by Israeli interests. Of course, even some of them will get fed up the more Netanyahu tells the US to shut up, but keep sending Israel money and missiles.

Actually, the pictures can be manipulated. As for the poll, it depends on how the question is asked. For example, an extreme majority do not think Hamas is justified.

42% think Israel is Justified; 39% unjustified; rest no opinion
11 % think Hamas is justified; 70% think it is unjustified; rest no opinion.

They do not break the Hamas question down by age.

They do show that people that follow the news closely are more likely to think Israel is justified.

I think if they had broken down the Hamas justified to the younger people, they would not think that Hamas is justified either.

The young are against war. They are idealists.

The young may be idealistic, but in this case it's also indicative of a demographic and cultural shift that will realign American attitudes with those in Europe, South America and Asia. There would be less affinity for Israel in any event given prior Israeli conduct, and the current operation is sharply accelerating a change in attitudes. Simply put, the Palestinians are now viewed as the David rising up in justified opposition to the Israeli Goliath. Apart from liberal positions on gay rights in some parts of Israel, there is virtually nothing about the country or its leaders that younger Americans find attractive.

The poll data is instructive; moreover, as unpopular as Hamas is, there are not escalating protests around the world directed against Hamas.

No, just an increasing majority of them.

When have there ever been protests against Hamas or any other terrorist organization? Have you seen protests against Al Quaeda?

Poster at 21:03, when were you elected to speak for "young Americans?"
Anonymous
Or perhaps, like Hamas, you appointed yourself to speak.

What the young americans want is peace. If the question was: do you support a two state solution for peace, 70% would be in favor of it....heck, in Israel and Palestine, 60+% are invader of it. It is not that people are in favor of Hamas. They are against war.

And 21:10, again, speaks for all....

Well the poll data, there is that too.

Older Americans have long offered more support for Israel than younger adults. In the current survey, a 39% plurality of those over 50 say Israel’s response to the conflict has been about right, compared with 22% who say it has gone too far. Among those under 50, about as many say Israel’s actions have been excessive (29%) as appropriate (33%).

People all over the world are really angry at Israel.

Promise me you'll post the shock on the same people's faces when the terrorists turn on them. Who is dumb enough to think you will GE spared, raise your hands. Look at the collective behavior of radicals in other parts of the world. I don't see Brooklyn's Orthodox communities or other Jewish communities shooting rockets and killing innocents.

Wow, people 18-29 , 38 percent think Israel's response is appropriteb or has not gone far enough versus the 29 percent who think it has gone too far. So yes, there is the poll data you cite.

The radical Muslims are downright scary, they are irrational and care nothing about human life. If a nuke is dropped, It will be by them-JMHO.

I recall the Palestinians (or at least the radicals within that population) celebrating the 9-11 attacks on the US-I guess we all want to forget that reality (remember that news footage?-very similar to the Israeli's dancing in the streets celebrating dead Palestinians). No doubt the radicals would love to obliterate Israel as well as the USA.
