Odd? Why?

I applied to LAMB and do not plan on attending (couldn't figure out how to withdraw app) and could not care less about my lottery number but I keep checking that thread. So you are not alone in checking random threads. A weird curiosity.

We got #5 for second grade and #15 for first grade. Guess our odds are pretty good?

We got #215 so basically we have NO chance of getting in. Boohoo!
Hoping that the DCMS lottery works out for us and we get one of our top choices. Curious to learn how many parents who applied to CM also applied to Mundo Verde, Inspired Teaching, and School Within a School.

Not the poster youre responding to, but probably for the same reasons I am ...

Analogy: most people don't have any connection to that missing airliner or its passengers or the airline, but yet and still, they keep checking stories about it because its so strange and mysterious ... and likely has a tragic ending for most

If we don't get in by September, somehow it'll hurt more than if we had a WL # in the 300s, since we'll be SO close.

I truly understand, we was number 5 for sws last year for ps3 and we never got in. I was so excited that I was going there but my number never came up. Aww well

Doubtful. How many do you think will leave those grades?

We got in the 60s for PK3. So, no chance.

I got #357 for PS3! I might be dead last. Hope my luck is better for the DCPS lottery.

Probably not, for 1st grade. Maybe for 2nd...maybe, and then you would get sib preference.

I got # 60 for pk4 and #125 for ps3

We entered the waitlist after the lottery for 1st grade year and got contacted 2nd week of school. Told this year at ed festival that odds are probably better for higher grades than lower. I think there is much more movement after K than people think.
