| No sign of outliers like Brown last year. I think they bias this year was full pay which yields better. |
No, last year they admitted 150 fewer kids than the year before from ED and RD. Then they started immediately pulling from the waitlist and had to go to about 300 deep to fill them. It was a weird but seemingly purposeful strategy. |
Brown accepted 300 more kids in RD this year than last. |
What schools? |
| Does seem like slower WL season so far. But could just be lack of reports. Last year Reddit was full of students on school /r but this year much less activity. Seems to be private or public IG this year. |
Much much slower than 2024. |
I'd expect limited transfer opps into this class then. Brown admitted a bunch of transfers in late fall/early winter, and another round comes out this week or next to fill out that class. |
| A LOT of movement at UVA |
My kid declined, but pretty much all of his friends are headed there. |
Are these mostly in-state kids declining? |
Today? |

My student didn’t apply to UVA, but I appreciate this level of transparency. |

Do they send an email? Is it also supposed to show up in the application portal? |
