I just looked, and that is not what I’m seeing. Looks like there are plenty of tickets available. I saw some for as low as $320. |
Imo, it is not really about a boycott. It is the fact that foreigners are afraid to come here because the chances of them being plucked off the streets and thrown in a detention center for no reason are >0. In addition to Trump and his ilk ruining this once in a lifetime event for us, there is also the simple fact that Americans do not appreciate soccer like most of the world does. Politics aside, if I was overseas and deciding where to go, I would choose Mexico because I would expect the atmosphere to be much more festive. I live in a host city, and the city is really trying to hype it up. But I rarely hear anyone talk about it, and I don’t know anyone who is going. People are excited about the infrastructure improvements that have been pushed through to get ready for it. But people are kinda blah about the actual soccer. Signed, A soccer fan |

They won’t see a refund because it’s a random charge made up by Trump and the money is going right into Trump’s pocket. |
There are only limited tickets available for 8 of the 104 WC matches. There are none available for any matches in Atlanta, Boston, New York, or Philadelphia. |
They're on reseller websites. |
This |
WC website has plenty of tickets for Kansas City matches. |
Resellers always have tickets. The point is that 99.9% of the World Cup tickets have been purchased from the original source, FIFA. |
So? The question is whether anyone will actually attend the games in the U.S. It seems unlikely that a lot of foreigners will come and not sure soccer has a big MAGA fan base. |
| I’m very heartened that Italy will be leading the boycott. |
haha |
I get that you hate Trump. We ALL hate Trump. But this is a painfully stupid stretch. It’s eye rollingly, facepalmingly dumb. And it makes the rest of us look as crazy as you by association. So please, knock this stupid sh!t off. |
