So, was it a wig or did she hit up the salon yesterday?

The boufant that made it look so fake has changed.

My guess is she removed the blonde hairpiece and/or extension and replaced with some dark extensions. I think the tied back hair is to make it look like the only difference is the style.

I don't think she's changed the color since yesterday. It's just pulled back and less harsh lighting. Does not look like a wig.

You're right. Its still the same blonde. It's harsh in different lighting

Pulled back like this it doesn't look as bad, but she is letting the roots grow in.

So thanks, pps, for letting me know that as nice as most women will be, there will be a few that will rip me down for any wig choice I make.

You are not being sincere and are taking the lord's name in vain, Kate Middleton is not worth all of that to you.

The post wasn’t about KM. It was commentary on how horrible women can be towards each other even in light of difficult personal struggles.

Why does her dark hair/dark wig look so much more flattering than the blonder hair from earlier in the week? Just a mismatch to her skin tone, like she’s a “winter” who was trying to wear some other season? I’m not too savvy in this area, but see that the darker tones suit her much better.

I agree that she's beautiful. I think she may be an autumn, rather than a winter, and definitely looks best with her natural dark hair that has a hint of auburn. Hope she returns to it soon!

I think she’s a beautiful true summer. The rosy pink makeup and cooler toned hair color (even with a hint of autumn) is so flattering on her.

Jennifer Aniston also appears to be a summer, but a softer (warmer) one, so ash blonde hair is more natural to her coloring.

Summer tones are so gorgeous and subtle, I have seasonal tone envy.

Friend! I had to hop on here to give you some reassurance. No one in your "real life" circle will be saying or even thinking that - I promise! They are just going to be happy you are fighting and proud of you for not giving up.

I think the vast majority of posters here are just treating Kate like any other celebrity - we like to dissect their pics. She really does look bad in that pic. (And this from someone whose favorite wig to wear during chemo cost $19.99 on Amazon... I'm sure I looked ridiculous but I didn't care, I was happy to be well enough to be out and about with my kids).

I do think there's one or two posters who just hates life and hate themselves and they do go too far criticizing her as a cancer survivor. I remember one poster complaining that since she was done with chemo, she should be back to work full time. And I read that post from bed, with full fatigue, as I was also finished with chemo but still very weak and I remember thinking, damn people just don't understand. And that can be triggering for a cancer patient, so it's OK to skip these posts.

Wishing you my very best!!

Did Kate Middleton Ditch the Blonde Already and Return to Her Signature Brunette?
The Princess of Wales was seen with darker hair as she attended the Women’s Rugby World Cup on Sept. 6

It's still a weird color. It's hard to judge online, but I think it had a green undertone and that's why it looked so unnatural and unflattering. Now they've tried to counter it with red tones, but it still looks weird and is now orange-ish too. Just a bad dye job.

I think they also went overboard on the length and the volume of the extensions. It's not subtle and thus looks fake.

I'd love to see Kate in shorter hair. A lob would look great on her.

Do you have cancer? What a horrible person you are

Meh. At least I would offer little kids an umbrella instead of leaving them in the rain like Catherine.

You have no idea what is going on unless you were there

PROTECT THE WIG!

Who cares about kids?

If you read the rest of the story you would know she did protect the kids from the sudden downpour and ushered them inside the museum. But it doesn't fit your narrative. You are wrong. Kate cares more about the kids.

If you want to read a story not controlled by the royal family PR here you go:

Kate Middleton stays dry under umbrella while children drenched for royal photo op

So much drama over nothing. Rain does not kill unlike in America

The photos are comically villainous which is what makes it so funny. It’s Kate’s “Let the eat cake!” moment

DP. I'd say we've found our comical villain ^^. Here she is, trying to bring a little girl under her umbrella with her. Grow up.

Really? Have you watched the video?

She’s basically keeping her at arms reach. Nobody gets anywhere near Kate’s umbrella.

Do you have any idea how germy children are? Children of all classes and colors?

Kate is a cancer survivor with a compromised immune system. She shouldn’t be expected to be snuggling up to germy rug rats when she’s already exposed plenty by her own children.

The blond doesn't look as good because her eyebrows and lashes are dark. I have the same coloring as Kate and would love to go lighter but its a pain to dye eyebrows and lashes and as we get older not sure how dyes will react on skin. good for her for playing around with color, she has such healthy hair!

BS. If it’s that serious then I’m sure she could wear a mask.

She certainly owns someone’s healthy hair.

So? I had a human hair wig when I went through chemo.

It can be very emotional to lose one’s hair and “look sick” - in hindsight I think I found that piece harder than actual chemotherapy.

Unless you’ve walked in the shoes, you have no idea what choices you’d make.
