I really think it is a little self important to keep making the claim that her family is posting here. This is the DCUM fashion forum. No offense to the rest of us intended! |
If he lost the pudge maybe, but not as is. |
And her adoring looks make such a fun contrast with Melania! |
So is your take that she didn't own a black coat? |
NP This is an utterly insane take. You either have very poor vision or horrendous taste but I'm betting it's both. |
I think the problem is she looks like she's playing dress-up and hasn't figured out how to just wear clothes. Like look at Kamala - she looks normal. That's because she wears clothes like this all the time - knows what she's comfortable in, what works for her. Usha is, I guess, new to being in the public eye and so she's like the intern at work whose skirts are either too short and tight or too frumpy or too something, because she does't know just how to buy and wear clothes appropriate for the setting. (I was that intern, long past being an intern.) Like this coat is pretty, the color is pretty - it's a little too big, she looks uncomfortable, it's the wrong color for a grown woman who is also an accomplished lawyer, etc. |
She needs a different stylist |
This is the fashion forum |
I would guess she may be having trouble finding designers willing to dress her. She may be doing the best she can with what/who she has at her disposal. |
I believe the take is that Usha doesn't know how to dress for the public eye |
I think they are both average. She improves her appearance with makeup. Her clothes are not well fitted. Ultimately she is still average. |
Sadly, I doubt that's the case. This is what people voted for - and I think that includes all kinds of people, even designers and stylists. And I think the stigma of being associated with this is gone, unfortunately. They even got Snoop and the Village People. She could find a stylist who wouldn't make her look bad if she wanted to. |
Normally I'd agree but there is someone showing up every page to scold us for saying such harmless things as "She needs better tailoring," or "The color is pretty on her but the scarf is weird." And then goes on to call us sexist for deigning to comment on an Indian-American woman's clothes while in the same breath calling Kamala's outfit ugly. It's absurd. |
Oscar de la Renta |
I don't think that is the case. Oscar de la Renta's social media has been very outwardly and proudly posting about dressing Usha and Ivanka this weekend. |
