Anyone know where her pink coat is from?

Also wondering! Her skin tone with that pink is perfect. Shes gorgeous.

Pink coat is Oscar de la Renta, as was her black dress the other night. She seems to be going for a classic look relying on American designers.

She needs a different stylist

I would guess she may be having trouble finding designers willing to dress her. She may be doing the best she can with what/who she has at her disposal.

I don't think that is the case. Oscar de la Renta's social media has been very outwardly and proudly posting about dressing Usha and Ivanka this weekend.

Yes- but who else?

Good point. Then again it may have been easier for Usha to just go to ODLR and say "Look, I'm not into fashion, can you make me a couple of coats and evening gowns for this weekend?" She may not have tried elsewhere.

Only time will tell, but I do hope she gets a stylist. She has potential, but my guess is she will either totally flop OR try to copy Melania/Ivanka. (Which would also flop because she has a completely different body type. I think, for example, she would look cute in a shift dress and kitten heels as opposed to Melania's body con dresses and 10" heels.)

It’s a fashion thread. I think we can comment on whether we like someone’s dress without it being a statement on their personality or capabilities. The two are really very separate. I have often commented that I like one of Ivanka’s drssses or Melanie’s coats but it’s not a statement on the content of their character. Similarly, in saying I don’t like the strapless black dress with big buttons, it’s not tearing down Usha.

I actually think he is significantly better looking than her, and that's saying something because he's not that cute either.

This is an utterly insane take. You either have very poor vision or horrendous taste but I'm betting it's both.

I think they are both average. She improves her appearance with makeup. Her clothes are not well fitted. Ultimately she is still average.

I’m a YLS grad. They are both YLS 9s.

WTF happened with Kamala's 1989 zip up track suit from Filene's basement sales rack? She was the least dressed. How lazy!!!! God Riddance!!!
Poor Kamala and her zipper outfit looked frumpy and sad. Very poor choice for a crowd and a photo op. She needs the stylist.

I can't imagine what she was thinking when she put that on today. Im no runway model but that outfit is a head scratcher.

I think she was trying to be low-key and not make a statement. It was appropriate.

I disagree. It was very lazy and unprofessional at best.

It is a black pantsuit with pumps and pearls. I think she is also wearing an American flag pin. It isn't unprofessional. She is the outgoing VP. She can wear a dark pantsuit.

That was not a pantsuit it was a sweat suit. Ugh.

Melania is not wearing body con dresses

I posted upstream that I really like the pink coat. But looking at it more, I do wish it was not quite so wide at the bottom and I wish she had a dofferent earring. The combo of the pink dress with the updo and those earrings is a little mumsy. Maybe a smaller earring or a drop earring would be better.

I like the purple dress. Gorgeous color, good for, the detailing is a little weird but I don’t find it too weird. (Not like appliqué on a tan coat weird.)

Really? I'm one of Usha's biggest fashion haters but that is actually one of her better looks.

I like it too. Flattering color and cut but some interesting details. Her make up is not my favorite but not bad.

She doesn't have good skin, large patches of melasma and very dark undereye circles. She needed better foundation and a brighter lip.

Everything Melania wears is a tad too tight and a little costume-y. Combined with the sky high stilettos, it never is that great. Usha has better, more classic taste but leans more minimalist and understated. Calvin Klein would work well for her, if she wants to stick to American designers. Armani if not.

I love her outfit, think it's the bad hair and makeup that make her look a little dowdy.

You're right - she could do that kind of minimalist look and look good, and look like herself. Instead she's putting on too-tight gold strapless dresses and big pink coats.

I really want her coat. Does anyone have a link?

That’s an ill fitting dress. The whole pink outfit needed better tailoring. It looks off the rack

It's Oscar de la Renta but from the sounds of their IG post about her it was custom. That being said, Biden's granddaughter wore Lafayette 148 to his Inauguration and it was custom but people liked it so much they made a version to buy off the rack. So keep the faith.
