Convince that there are young men who believe in women’s rights

When women start earning and not needing men for money, the whole male ego falls apart and has an identity crisis. Get over yourselves and your super fragile egos. Posts in here even pushing down men who believe women are equal to them. How can men get over their identity crisis? Easy… just be a kind human. Crisis solved! IN the meantime, no sympathy at all for your identity crisis. Just wow.

OP- responses in this thread make your post so much more meaningful and true. I hope your DD finds one of the good ones. They’re few and far between but they’re out there. Have her learn strong boundaries.

And the “male loneliness epidemic”. Nobody is stopping a man from going to college or making friends. The men who put effort into their lives and hobbies are just fine. I live right outside of DC and I see plenty of young men playing sports and having girlfriends and seemingly financially stable. If women say they are lonely they get told to work on themselves or get called a cat lady.

After America chose a misogynistic rapist to lead our country, she believes there are no men worth dating. She’s scared for her future and wants nothing to do with men. I am trying to convince her that there are supportive kind men out there (including her own father). Can you share examples of young men fighting for women’s rights?

Apparently, a majority of them love Macho Don and want to be able to grab women by their kitties, even though they aren't stars.

Women’s careers get wrecked when they take long gaps. They want you out of the workforce to make more space for them. They did not have to compete like this for high paid careers before.

That is beside the point. OPs daughter can’t find any man to date and millions of men voted for Kamala.

The issue now is that so many leaders of the MAGA movement have made too many comments that should scare women, as a whole, and I am not only talking about abortion.

Who wants to marry somebody who voted for a guy who thinks “grandma day care” should be a solution to child care?

Who wants to date somebody who voted for a person who thinks women’s value are in their looks, and not their skills? All those “central casting” comments come to mind.

Why date a guy who voted for the guy who said his own daughter had nice breasts?

Why date a guy who voted for the guy who hung out with Epstein?

Why date a guy who was OK with voting for they man that thinks you can get away with secual assault because you are a celebrity?

It’s not just about abortion, it’s about the general treatment of women, and young women can open their own doors just fine. They can pay for their own dinners. That is probably not on the list of priorities. They want to be with a man that will treat them with respect, will value their time and contribution to the relationship/family.

+10000 perfectly stated

John McCain made most women swoon.
He was a real man, and a Republican.

Signed, a Democrat who owns a cat

Trump is NOT John McCain! Please do not insult McCain in this way!!

90% of this thread is beside the point.

Millions of men voted for Harris and she can find one.

My kids are older teens in a very liberal area. It sounds like almost all of the boys at their school are fed Trump crap on their feed and ~1/2 of them are actually Trumpy. Scary.

Doesn’t sound like they are targeting girls now though.

Millions of men did vote for Harris, but a larger percentage of those voters are older, probably voting in favor of their daughter’s rights. Younger men, not so much. Many are just out for themselves.

My 17 yr old daughter in fcps reports the same. The girls do try to find out what side the boys are on, just to be safe. And yes. some here will call us paranoid, but better be safe than sorry.

Of course they find out which side they are on. There's nothing paranoid about it.

Did someone say that Trump’s “they let you” means that women are just throwing their pu$$ies at him?!?!

Seriously, this is what’s wrong with America. Women who refuse to see how they hold up the patriarchy and are damn well smug about it.

Trump is the cool thing to do for boys right now. They have made a fraternal culture with young men. You can see it with all of the trump hats and the flags and Truck decorations. It feels like you are part of a club.

.

Hmmm, a boys club you say? That sounds fabulous! Can we bring some sequins and boa scarfs too?

I learned this election that almost everyone is looking out for themselves and it’s a bleeding heart liberal thing to vote with others in mind. We are sitting over here concerned about conflict across the globe and if women we don’t know can access abortion and others are worried about their grocery bills. And that’s fair, I get it now and at this point I might start doing the same thing and just vote for which party serves me best personally and not consider anybody else, clearly everyone else is doing that, I missed the memo.

This woman is 25 years old so I don't think she's looking for some insecure high school boy. There are millions of men out there that are supportive of women's rights that is her best bet.
