He is typically there every year along with 100s of other sleazy politicians and elitist. It's what people like Trump and Schumer do. Of course they are going to be there!

Trump & Schumer patching things up. Interesting.

That's the most sleaziest slime I have ever seen in one picture! Ick

Harris needs to worry about the 95+ % of the live audience and those seeing it on social media and articles who did not recognize a niche comedic character from 25 years ago. To those people, it was unfunny and deeply weird at best, and at worst, a bigoted mocking of Catholics.

No one under the age of say, 40, recognized that character.

No under 120 wants a continuation of mentally declining 80 year old people leading the most powerful country in the world either. I can put up with Harris' antics. She is competent. Biden being replaced by Trump would be like replacing your 1987 Pontiac Sunbird that does nothing but leak and sputter with a 1983 Ford Escort that blew it's head gasket when you drove it previously.

You sound like the White Dude for Harris who says he eats carburetors for breakfast.

I'm the normal type of person that votes against another almost 80 year old becoming president of the most powerful country in the world. It makes sense.

+1
It did not go unnoticed that she snubbed Cardinal Dolan.

Cardinal Dolan snubs folks every day, so not worried there.

Since when are periods something to mock? Who says something like that?

Troglodytes and middle school boys.

Nah. They wanted her there so Trump could try to humiliate her and then they would get the reaction shot - Harris embarrassed, a crowd of rich white dudes laughing at her. Then put that into commercials to beam all over the country.

Harris didn’t walk into the obvious trap. Smart lady.

Ps - the Al Harris Dinner is the definition of the Swamp that folks claim to hate. Money, religion, media, and politics all rolled into one.

There are a lot of rich white dudes in both parties. If she can’t handle rich white dudes, she shouldn’t be president

You don’t think she can handle rich white dudes? Please. She simply doesn’t have to sit there when Trump engages in ableist, racist, sexist BS.

This woman is nuts.

It’s clear that Trump’s tank is empty. Even his campaign is saying so. He’s old. Gearing up for days to attend a late night event is common for elderly people. No shame in that. But he can’t keep up with the demands of being POTUS at this point.

He looked healthy and was funny last night.

Since Tim Walz put tampons in the boys bathrooms in all of the high schools in Minnesota.

Biden had moments when he was 78 when he seemed of sound body and mind too. How did that work out? We can't go through that again. Vote Harris!

The issue is when you skip this tradition, send in an anti-Catholic skit, and then today do this.

Btw, the Al Smith dinner is supposed to involve an element of self-deprecation. There was none of that. It was the same old drivel from an old, tired, angry man.

And this was him trying to tone it down, bc eight years ago, he got so much flack for being so cruel and off-putting. Old, tired, and angry is right.

This is how it's supposed to be done:

Obama's 2008 address is here (starts around 23:00):

So Kamala can’t attend because that would mean being in a room of child molester supporters and rich old white men- but it was funny and cool when Obama showed up.

A lot of attendees are NYC and NY State politicians. The current mayor and many former mayors were in attendance.

No doubt a post from someone who thought tens of pages on DCUM insulting Vance about a couch was funny. WEIRD.
