Call her stupid all you want. She’s not. She’s a former prosecutor who has run a campaign with amazing message discipline— and discipline, period. It’s going to be an amazing contrast to Trumps rambling and erratic behavior.

Plus, she’s younger than Trump and much more attractive. I think the visual of youth v age and Trump rambling and her shrugging, saying she can’t respond because he’s incoherent and weird and looking younger and better is a JFK v Nixon moment.

She does not need to be policy heavy to win because Trump’s main policies are grievances and retribution. Her upbeat campaign will do well against that.

Plus, Trump is on his heels. He has yet to find a good response to her. None of his insults are sticking. He can’t even land a good nickname.

Maybe I’m wrong. But, I think Trump looks like Biden did in his first debate when he goes against her. Definitely think more people than normal will tune is.

What is her message though? Other than criticizing Trump and throwing out some grand ideas she can never accomplish, what’s her platform?

If she has one then she hasn’t made it public yet. Maybe at her first press conference this week she’ll tell us.

If you think she hasn't made it public yet, then you simply are not listening to her or reading her website.

https://kamalaharris.com/

this is her website. Where are her policies?

DP - thank you for pointing it out. There are no policies listed her website.

It’s ok. Who needs policies when you have joy? And her and Walz are just so nice…

They won’t talk to without a teleprompter. How is that nice?

She will. She had to hit the ground running at 100MPH a month ago and had to get through this week. Face it, the entire campaign so far has been absolutely flawless. The Convention was flawless. THAT is leadearship.

To me, her approach to press interviews is what we should expect with her presidency. We’ll be expected to take what she gives us and learn to like it.

And that’s not democracy.

But you think the flood of BS that provides less than no information is somehow more transparent?

No. The contrast here is that he’s giving us something to judge and consider.

Now that all the excitement of her replacing Biden, Picking her VP, and convention are over, it’s time to see what here policy and platform are really about. Details are needed to see how she will combat crime, inflation, migrant crisis, world crisis, etc…

Also maybe do a darn interview or something that is not read off a teleprompter.

I’ll give them credit they did a hell of a job of re-branding and packaging her but there’s no substance.

Walz very famously didn’t use a teleprompter til he became the candidate for VP. I swear some of you just happily baste yourselves in a marinade of right wing propaganda and wonder why it stinks in here.

Newsweek is just clickbait at this point. They publish an article every 30 min in the reddit /politics forum, trying to be as provocative as possible (about either candidate).

+1 Dems couldn’t stand her 10 minutes ago and I still haven’t been told why I shouldn’t trust their initial instinct.

Yep,
Up until June 2024, she was a liability. Discussions were all over the media of Biden possibly replacing her as she was so unpopular.

But now, she is amazing? I call BS. She is still the word salad machine of the past 3 years.

Let’s Be real. The problem isn’t with Walz. Rather, it’s that Harris gives the public a middle finger each day that passes without a press interview.

She’s coasting, which precisely how her aides have described her work ethic. Then there are her promises, which have shown she lacks a basic understanding of economics.

I fear she avoids the press because the empress has no clothes.

Even if that were true she is STILL 100x better than the orange clown.

It’s impossible to compare them when she has no policies.

That's the same thing they said about Obama. And every Dem since Bill Clinton has been labeled a left wing radical. It just gets to a point that these criticisms don't mean anything except the candidate is a Democrat and you don't like them. That's fine, but it's not actually a real criticism. It's a preference.

Nikki Haley tried to tell you MAGA morons.
Ya’ll too sexist and racist to listen and now just look at you. She tried!
She said the first party that ditches their 80 year old will win.
You all were too chicken sh— to make a change. Ya’ll didn’t have the stones to say that your fat orange emperor had no clothes.
Oh and now you think you’ve gotten some juice from the brain worm guy?
Seriously?
Lol babes. Nah.

+1 Every Democrat is the devil incarnate, each further left than the last, all are always branded “communist,” “socialist” or “Marxist.” Every time. There’s a reason none of the usual smears are sticking.

Harris > Trump

It's really no contest.

You'll see after the 9/10 debate.
