That would sabotage Harris's chances for two terms.

Big LOL!

No big name Democrat is going to run against the potential first woman of color President, particularly one who has been serving as VP and has the endorsement of President Biden. No one.

Now it's all about the VP pick.

If that is the primary reason to choose a candidate for the Democratic party, we deserve to lose to Trump.

Who is "we"? No decent human being "deserves" to lose to Trump.

This is the sort of elitism that makes a liberal like me to vote for Trump.

^^^This is the sort of ridiculous comment that makes a moderate like me vote for whoever the Democratic candidate is.

It makes a liberal like him to vote for Trump! English is definitely being his first language and he not troll at all!

Trump lost to Biden in 2020. Who use the Loser?

I'm going with the Dems picking Hillary.

Kamala is so not popular. She just had a big meeting with donors. They hung up on her, lol. As AOC clearly expressed, the elite donors do not want Kamala. She's terrible at politics. She's polling terribly in swing states.

The Dems are in so much trouble.

WHY AM I NOT FIFTY POINTS AHEAD???

And endorses Kamala? People hate her more than they think Joe should retire! This isn't going to end well.

Please don't say that man's name in the same sentence as a true American hero

You can't give up the power of the incumbency and be a lame duck for 18 months.

That said:

Joe should be praised for what he did for this country in 2020 and Kamala should carry the mantle of the Biden Coalition and bring centrists to the table to defeat MAGA and Trump once and for all.

His presidency has been a disaster and Kamala would be worse.

Were shelves empty of toilet paper under Biden?
Did the UN Assembly laugh at Biden?
No?

Not a disaster.

I'd say starving babies under Biden's watch was pretty horrific.

Do you think that that's going to change with a different democrat or Trump?

Translation: “we need to switch candidates because ours is polling really poorly”

It wasn’t just the polls. The American people could see with their own eyes what was going on - we all have too many family members who experienced the same. Should this have been handled differently? Sure. But he wasn’t that bad a year ago when a full primary would have had to be initiated. Everyone thinks they’re the one who will dodge the inevitable.

Democrats are not perfect - they’re slimy politicians like the rest of them. But at least they try to bring the American people with them along the way. They made a hard call. Republicans never stepped up in 2016, 2020, or now.

If what you say is true, Joe should resign the presidency and not just drop out as a candidate.

Oh BS. No liberal is voting for Trump.

Don’t be so sure we are voting for Kamala, either!

It will be interesting if/how the GOP pivots.

Better than Biden, but not good enough. She needs to get on stage and debate Trump.

He’ll eat her alive. Sad but true!

???

She is smart, a former prosecutor and is quick enough to call out his lies.

It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day.

Congrats Kamala. I can’t believe you are on dcum right now. Amazing!

Polymarket now has betting market for VP nomination. 30% Shapiro, 30% Cooper. Beshear distant third.

Hahahahahaha
That woman is a moron. She will do nothing but embarrass herself. She will fall out of that coconut tree for sure.

With Trump's age, IQ, corruption and temper, do you see him as a legit choice?

For all the talk about Trumps temper , he selected as his successor for 2028 a young man who insulted him a few years ago (jd Vance). He is passing the baton to him and not his sons or an establishment phony like Rubio or Haley.

He has previously said only the "Lord Almighty" could make him withdraw.

Something is very off here.
