Nothing, no accusation mattered to them because it wasn’t a conviction. Now it’s a conviction and naturally they’ve moved the goalposts.

This just complicates the whole issue.

Many Dems and Donors want him out, he still seems to have lots of support…. So at this rate he will limp into the general election and get blown out.

Either he needs to be replaced asap or every dem needs to get on board to defend him and support him. This mixed messaging will definitely cost him the election.

I don’t really understand the objections to Harris. She would be better than Trump, and is more alive and mentally competent than Biden. Plus, she would get Biden’s war chest.

I actually think a lot of the objections to Harris are just the virulent misogyny that’s a significant part of the Democratic Party these days. It’s all the same.

You are wrong. It's not official until the judge makes it so with a sentence. I don't know if this has to do with a judge's power to set aside the verdict or something else.

Nope, conviction comes either with a.) a guilty plea, b.) a judge finding the defendant guilty in a bench trial or c.) a jury finds the defendant guilty. Sentencing comes AFTER conviction. You are incorrect to suggest conviction happens at sentencing.

There are a lot of voters who don’t disagree with this and yet also think Biden is a corpse.

If Biden doesn’t drop out, the election will be a question of which candidate is the least mostly dead.
