It’s hilarious that people think this is an own, when in fact the person bumping the seat is doing much more work and expending much more psychic energy than the recliner. Your silly bumping doesn’t faze me. You’ll tire of it in 10 minutes or less. Have a nice flight.

I “accidentally” bump recliners too. Since I’m 6’3” it isn’t always an accident. I mostly blame the airlines for forcing in too many rows and making flying uncivil. Can’t afford first/biz class, but Economy Plus on United is great. It’s only a couple inches of extra legroom, but makes a huge difference.

+1. I’m 5’2” and always recline. Your bumping me doesn’t even register. I’m curled up in my reclined seat asleep. Bump away.
