Chinese balloon flying

News reports show that Biden knew of balloon 4 days prior to reports. Kept it hidden from public as he did not want to derail Blinken’s visit! Wtf…. Just shoot it down. Should not be there and Chinese would shoot ours down. We look weak AF.

I don't see how a balloon is going to give them intel they can't already get from satellites.
If it was really a threat I'm sure our govt would at the very least let the thing have a "weather related accident" over a sparsely populated area.

So Potus is supposed to just tell us things? You don't think Presidents sometimes keep secrets? Don't think maybe they are supposed to?

These are the same generals, intelligence officers, and national security experts that predicted that Ukraine would fall in a few days. They same ones who droned 10 innocent people in Afghanistan because they thought they were terrorists. The same ones who said that Afghanistan wouldn't fall in a week.

I think we have every reason to be skeptical of the assessment of these individuals.

And, the fact that this has been allowed to transverse our country and sweep up intelligence... who knows what they have learned...... is outrageous.

So Potus is supposed to just tell us things? You don't think Presidents sometimes keep secrets? Don't think maybe they are supposed to?

We have come not to expect anything of this administration.

They have tried to suppress so many facts and stories that this is now expected. Their assumption that nobody would see a large white balloon crossing our country is laughable.

I suspect the Chinese have achieved at least one intelligence objective - they now know that in a fight between them and Joe Biden's USA, Fox News will be on the Chinese side.

Huh. I would've expected Biden to want this story out in the media. I mean, it couldn't have been that big of deal if he just let it float across CONUS, right?

Besides, if it had come out sooner, it might have detracted a bit from his other weekly failures...
