I've found that many liberals are so arrogant in their assumptions that their views are the only correct position to hold and that anyone who doesn't agree with those views doesn't hold a DIFFERENT opinion, they have a WRONG opinion. I think the media endorses this BS by making anything other than the progressive agenda the "alternate" one. And for the record, I'm a conservative in terms of fiscal and international policy but lean heavily toward the middle on social issues.

I think gay people should be able to marry, divorce, adopt etc. But I don't think people get to pick their gender. A lady can have her boobs removed and take steroids but she will never get testicular cancer and she might get ovarian cancer so as far as I can tell, biology has decided she is a girl. But I don't care if she wants to dress like he. Not my business or my bedroom.

He was so bitter about Obama softening relations because he knew his family would never get is farm back. Thankfully he died before he had to see what Biden is doing. Your path has been different. I was mainly countering the astoundingly wrong assumptions being levied about what Someone like me should look like.

Your uncle tracks as a typical Republican. His entire view of politics is defined by what is good for him (getting the family farm back, lower taxes), as opposed to what is good for society.

The sad thing is our media is merely a sound piece for the liberals. At least 80% is. When you talk about fraudulent elections that is a big one right there. I believe that was a big factor in people's anger that of course the media doesn't cover. My spouse predicted the media would start doing hit pieces on Trump if word got out he would run. Oddly I'm starting to see just that. Yet rarely do they talk about how incompetent Biden has been.
