He was already sworn in a couple of days ago. This is the circle jerk ceremony.

Can there be a civil suit from Ford?

Are you nuts? She'd have to divulge too much information and would go down in flames.

No. We are good snowflake. BK is the pits for our daughters and our sons and we will vote out those responsible.

No

Statute of limitations

Plus, it almost surely wouldn’t hold up even if it wasn’t 30 years late

Nice opinion piece about how the left has lost their ever loving minds. Any fair minded person knows this was never about Brett Kavanaugh. It was an effort to stop at all costs any Trump nominee that would tilt the court to the right for some time to come. They tried to do that by creating chaos and distractions to force Trump to abandon BK and have this drag out beyond the midterms. And once again, we learn that the party of tolerance and acceptance only tolerates and accepts those who agree with them, and that the party of women is anything but. They didn’t care about Dr. Ford and used, abused, and betrayed her to advance a political agenda. Such despicable, morally devoid people.

Yeah, they should be relieved their sons can sexually assault and the girls will be too scared to report them. What a great goal!

I think they will be heartened that some people stood up for the presumption of innocence, chicken little.

The fact that so many Democrats do not seem grounded in fundamental principles of fairness and due process is very, very bad for this country.

I am thinking that if you were up for a big job promotion, and you had been accused of something potentially disqualifying (let’s say it’s an EEO complaint), I am betting that you would hope your employers would start with a presumptions of innocence before they write you off. Or, would you prefer that they automatically disqualify you based on a complaint with no evidence?

Absolutely but aside from the allegations he lied under oath. There are texts to prove as much that the fbi did not investigate. I think he will be impeached.

No he didn’t. And, no he won’t.

Yes, actually he did. He had knowledge of Ramirez's allegations before the hearing and he not only lied about it but attempted to reach her. That's a problem.

Just give it up. Just because he got wind of something going around did not mean he knew of her allegations.
You people will believe anything the left-wing media tells you.

Ohhhhh, got it. You don't like the news so this is just a manipulation of the "left wing media". He did know of her allegations before they became public and well before the hearing. Sorry the facts are so inconvenient for you.

No evidence he knew of her precise allegation, facts man.

WTF? The Dems were pushing for the investigation. A thorough investigation would be fair and just.

GOP has no sense of ethics.

As part of its advise and consent role, the senate was fully entitled to apply a standard. For Senator Collins it was more likely than not. Listen to her speech. Ponder it. And try to carry it with you.

So, to you, all it takes is a pitiful woman to make an unfounded accusation and the nominee should withdraw, because, after all we have to "believe women." Got it. signed, a woman.

Mitch was pretty brilliant about that, wasn’t he?
