Such a horrid excuse for a human.

I have a friend whose mother was a sorry excuse for a mother and person. He turned out great in spite of it. As someone who loves our nation I hope Kavanaugh goes on to be a good SCJ and isn't as political as I believe he is.

I also hope that Trump decides that he is at his own imagined pinnacle as a president and doesn't run in 2020 so he can spend his few remaining years bragging about it.

God willing. He has a tacky library to go build in Florida I am sure.

But BK has a a lifetime appt. Unforgivable.

Ah yes but there are 8 other SCJ's serving and I think Roberts can move more to being a swing vote.

I am thinking that if you were up for a big job promotion, and you had been accused of something potentially disqualifying (let’s say it’s an EEO complaint), I am betting that you would hope your employers would start with a presumptions of innocence before they write you off. Or, would you prefer that they automatically disqualify you based on a complaint with no evidence?

Absolutely but aside from the allegations he lied under oath. There are texts to prove as much that the fbi did not investigate. I think he will be impeached.

No he didn’t. And, no he won’t.

Yes, actually he did. He had knowledge of Ramirez's allegations before the hearing and he not only lied about it but attempted to reach her. That's a problem.

Just give it up. Just because he got wind of something going around did not mean he knew of her allegations.
You people will believe anything the left-wing media tells you.

Forget the Ford allegations or the disgusting yearbook entries and the evidence that at the very least, Kavanaugh was a drunk a-hole in college. He is a political operative, a man who spent much of his career as a political hack, and who was selected because he is in favor of the executive branch protections Trump will need (or want) if he is impeached. That is why he was nominated. Period.

And then there's his ranting at the hearings and his threats to half the country of retribution and droning on about conspiracy theories. He doesn't belong on the SCOTUS. He is not worthy. As a tax payer and citizen, I'm appalled. And most Americans agree with me.

But November is coming.

Ohhhhh, got it. You don't like the news so this is just a manipulation of the "left wing media". He did know of her allegations before they became public and well before the hearing. Sorry the facts are so inconvenient for you.

I doubt that the Senate will turn but I do believe that the coming election, and remote possibility as it might be that the majority shifts, that they didn't want to get another nom so they went ahead with Kavanaugh. His 'rant' was enough for them to say, look we understand how upset you are but that isn't judicial temperament, and back off.

Really great job by Mitch. Remarkable, even. Just in terms of the electoral fall out, the Demicrats’ behavior on this should send chills down the spines of suburban women voters with sons.

He lied under oath repeatedly. But it doesn’t matter. Nothing matters anymore. Those in power do what they can get away with.

Are MoCo Police still looking for the police report that Swetnick says she filed?

Can there be a civil suit from Ford?

Yeah, they should be relieved their sons can sexually assault and the girls will be too scared to report them. What a great goal!
