Huh. Imo, Tenleigh definitely seems more like a name a teen mom would give her daughter than it does one a 42-year-old successful career woman would chose. |
You're religious. We get it. |
Ivy and Tessa's parents met through mutual friends. The friends were in grad school for International Relations and had a cool row house. They had a party one night and these two lovebirds found each other and have been inseparable since. They waited until their careers took off before they married so they are somewhat older parents, but very fit and healthy, so its not a big deal. She grows herbs, he bikes on Sundays in a big "bike pack" group. Ivy and Tessa are close in age and they both have long waterfall curls; but Ivy is dark haired and Tessa a dirty blonde. Ivy is currently obsessed with reading. She loves Nancy Drew and Encyclopedia Brown. She's totally old school. She really wants a tree house and dad has promised to take her to the local library to research building one. (Again, totally old school). Tess, as her favorite teacher nicknamed her recently, is all about socializing. She likes having friends over and is planning a Roxaboxen party just like her favorite picyure book by the same name. The girls love the family tradition of going to see the Nutcracker ballet at Christmas time. |

Ivy and Tessa's mom....was this story close???? |
Stuffy rich internationals |
When Victoria and Alexander’s mother was little she had a pink gabled doll house with real working lights, and would spend hours rearranging furniture in the drawing room. She’s always been drawn to the classical and elegant. Now at 38, she’s a pearl necklace kind of woman with a white kitchen and well kept house, as well as a rewarding part-time career at an arts foundation. The children (never “kids”) are taken to the museums often, but have never been to a county fair. Dad has strong feelings about children’s enrichment activities, and always brings the children special biscuits (bought at the airport) back from his business trips to London, and appreciates the DW keeps herself and his family well coiffed, but otherwise is not overly involved. |
This is great! Love the "never been to a county fair" description. I can really imagine that family! Cant wait to hear how close you are to the truth. |
