Avery, the oldest of this sister trio is in fifth grade at an Arlington public school. She is on the shy side and is tall for her age, making her feel super awkward for the time being. But she is a beautifu, graceful child and with a touch more confidence she will blossom into an athletic charming young lady. She has recently struggled with math and mom and dad are considering a tutor. She loves nature and is quite concerned about the environment. Green is her favorite color. Violet, the middle child. Despite her oh so feminine moniker "Vi" is a tomboy. She is in the third grade. Vi could care less about fashion and practically refuses to wear dresses or skirts. She brushes her pageboy haircut only when reminded. Her face has a splash of freckles and a crooked smile. She will definitely need braces. In fact she was just fitted for a retainer and hates the idea of wearing it. It will be wrapped in a napkin and mistakenly thrown away three times over the next year. Oh Violet. She has a temper and a mean streak, but she lovingly cares for the family dog named Noodles. Noodles is a Bernadoodle and grew to be a lot bigger than everyone expected. Violet rode a two wheeler before Avery and now wants a skateboard. She loved the movie Muana and wants to move to Hawaii some day. Her favorite color is rainbow. Vivienne is in kindergarten and has a lisp. She is somewhat of a crybaby and demands tons of attention. Her sisters cmplan about her, but mom just tells them they need to be more patient with her. Via is obsessed with Perler beading and chews the beads while she creates. Noodles likes to chew the finished product and Viv cries about it for hours, yet never learns to put her stuff away. Her best friend is Evie from a few houses down. Evie has two dads and knows all about marijuana. Viv has no idea what she is talking about, but pretends. The family car is a Honda Pilot. Both sets of grandparents live in the Northeast. Dad is allergic to shellfish. Mom studied abroad and loves British Literature. The most exciting thing that has happened in 2018 ( besides Noodles emergency trip to the Vet) was the time dad bought a scratch off ticket for Violets birthday and she won $200. |

| Last Christmas Shane’s aunt had to pull her brother aside, and explain to him tha he should probably stop proudly referring to himself as a “bro-dad”, since most people consider that a derogatory term. The poor guy had no idea - he just is excited to be raising his rad little buddy, after 43 years of a mostly carefree single-guy existence. Both he and his wife are now all in on this whole parenthood thing. Admittedly, the first 3 years of marriage/baby/toddler were a bit of a strain, but now that Shane is 4, rocking some shaggy blond hair, and old enough to start snowboarding with his pops, things are looking up. Or so his dad swears over beers with his sis in the garage, before the weed comes out. |
