Post your DCs names and we'll tell you what we assume about you. Snark is obviously expected!

You work in a patent office, expecting a girl, you want to name her Tesla. And everybody missed the funniest joke one pp wrote, "at least you know what you'' name your third child: AC/DC! Love that pp! Also, not sure if you are all that smart if your think naming siblings Edison and Tesla is nothing short of hoping they truly hate each other with abandon. Plus, Tesla girl would always own your Edison boy in fights!

I am Edison’s Mom. I really hate to admit how spot on this is. It’s about 90% accurate. Are you psychic or am I just that basic?

Thank you PP for doing mine!!

Your family is likely Christian and conservative. You attend church and bible study weekly. Your children are well mannered.

My first thought were kids of hipsters living in a Brooklyn loft.

Ha, neither is exactly correct, but maybe kernels of truth in both...

You & your partner are hipsters.

You bought both of your kids only gender neutral clothing until Calliope -- much to you chagrin -- developed a love for all things pink & frilly & began to refuse to wear pants. She started insisting on wearing a tutu everyday right around the same time she began begging endlessly to take ballet lessons. At first you refused but you are beginning to think it might be okay as long as you sign Galen up, too. After all, how can you deny your children exposure to a possibly soul enriching form of artistic expression simply because the narrow lens of our modern societal norms views it as stereotypically feminine?

You won't, however, give up on trying to (gently!) steer Calliope away from that Disney princess-loving ne'er-do-well classmate she has been hanging out with at her supposedly crunchy co-op preschool!

These threads only work for people with generic Anglo names. If I posted my kids’ names here I’d be outed in a second! But... we get complimented on their ethnic names all the time.

Tenleigh. However, she is only ever referred to as #ourlittlelass on social media. Comments containing her real name are immediately deleted.

Hannah (5) and Elijah (6 months).

Ha! But for "hipsters" (they're anything but) this is pretty spot-on. Well done, PP. some of you definitely have a gift.

Lives in Virginia
DH or DW works for company with 1000+ employees as a govt. contractor
DW has cute pics of DD in her cubicle and possibly a bowl of candy for visitors.
DW loves Xmas, sends out expensive high quality card each year
Dog family
Couple met and married fairly young
They went to a southern university where football was big and they still host barbeques when there is a big game on. Channing has a jersey that she wears with a big coordinating ribbon barrette. Sometimes a picture of her in this outfit is a Facebook profile pic and/or featured on the Christmas card. When the second child arrives, he will wear a coordinating onesie.

LOLOL. I've bolded that which is true. It is amazing how dead on you are. We are totally not a dog family though and I am a SAHM. Other than that, you're practically a psychic. (However, I do NOT post pictures of just Channing as my Facebook profile pic. Usually a variation of me with DH or me with the DD.)

Not psychic just your life is a cliche. Sorry.

Tenleigh’s mom was 42 when she gave birth, which is a good thing, because experience is really a godsend in making sure she gets this whole ‘motherhood’ thing right. After a very successful career that involved deal-making on 4 continents, it feels very good to be able to fully concentrate on Tenleigh’s development. She was still in a rear-facing car seat at age 3, you would not dare to feed her popcorn until 6, and kept yourself busy in those early years researching bilingual preschools. She’s now a precocious 2nd grader, into horses and Girl Scouts, though you’re pushing hard to get her more interested in STEAM and worried she won’t make it into the gifted program.

Tenleigh’s dad (#mybestfriend) has ramped up at work since you quit when the baby came. You always expected he’d be a more involved father, but it was clear early on that he wasn’t as invested in learning the right way to sooth her and couldn’t be counted on to make sure she wasn’t introduced to new foods too quickly, so you find yourself doing 95% of the work. Still, they have a little routine where they go out together Saturday mornings while you sleep in, which is nice.
