The special guest for the gala? |
Do other clubs do this? I really don't understand why a soccer club hosts a golf tournament, a turkey trot, and has a gala? Do these things generate money? |
Yes, they are trying to make money. They also have a terrible money grab rec soccer tournament specifically planned to funnel money from CYA and Loudoun rec soccer parents to Valor admin pockets. |
I’m all for extra events, but golf and gala are downright stupid. What about a coaches’ or parents’ game? Events that involve the entire division, so kids know each other even if they are not on the same team. Overall I’m tired of everyone playing in their own little sandbox. |
valor is pretty much CYA.. all the good coaches from SYA are gone.. and most of the talent as well. There was a reason most of the CYA kids did not make the top teams in the initial merger. CYA core is rec league. Now they are the ones who stayed. And teams are pretty much terrible. |
You mean fast and overly aggressive with no technical training doesn't work in the long run? Color me shocked. |
they didnt even have fast or aggressive. More like slow small kids who can juggle, but never win a ball. |
Must be lower teams. The only thing they care for is quick and willing to aggressively attack players and the ball. ...and yes, juggle and do rainbows. They can't dribble or pass out of a paper bag. It's literally Loudoun light with kickball and sprint offense. |
If it doesn’t matter, then name them! |
I’ll say it- you all suck. All of u11 |
U10 too! |
Boys,girls or both? |
This sounds like a problem with the new youth director, as this was at one time a strength of the club. |
Strength of a 3 year old club. Tell me more! I'm not arguing against the previous complaints, I'm more curious about when it was supposedly good. |
when SYA was by themselves. CYA has always been a shit organization. Only good for rec. |
